That guy is screwed.
Too bad he didn't have a country septic tank system, which would have limited the sewer damage to his own property.
Does anyone know how long these beads retain water? Surely, they don't retain their shape forever.
I don't know French but that seems like a terrible, terrible idea to do what he did.
