He even went back fully determined to confirm his agenda. He did not go there to 'investigate' in the first place. He went there to affirm at any means. Apparently succeeded the second time. Biased.

This is definitely a situation that justifies Schadenfreude. It also reinforces the notion that you can't beat the stupid out of people - some people are too brainwashed to be saved.
