It's clear that IBM is going to be losing a lot of talent in the near future. IBM no longer has the appeal of companies like Google and Apple that people will compete for jobs on. If anything, I've heard from former staff that the wages aren't that good.
Google and Apple are hemorrhaging jobs.
As are dozens of other tech type pro remote white collar companies.
Unless you have specific highly needed skills and experience in very particular areas you are not talent. And most MANAGERS at a place like IBM are long past the point of having hands on desired skills.
