This is a lot more substantial than it may seem. Turkiye has a substantial military and as Doug MacGregor notes, is one of the few nations nearby that can defeat Israel.
Well the entire region can defeat Israel, that's never been the problem.
The problem has always been the unconditional US backing of Israel.
