Good for you man, sometimes you just need to take a stand for what you believe in. I was banned from AskReddit too, which is concerning because they used to be a very difficult sub to get banned from. 5-6 years of reddit, me being me, and I only got banned there recently. I think that points to new and less tolerant moderation.

  1. Mods ... restrict users' posting privileges ... if [their comments are] deemed detrimental ... to the experience of others.

This is the same as Saidit's rules/guidelines for the PoD

One of my favorite rules in a sub at Saidit is that mods at /s/debatealtright can ban you if you are "arguing in bad faith", which I think can apply to anything. I had various discussions about this last month, but now cannot find the same language in the sidebar at /s/debatealtright.
