It almost seemed as if he was trying to get back on the platform. As a side note, I wonder how exactly they go about the removal of the body in cases like this where it's wedged in between.

Doubt it because if he was having second thoughts or something he could’ve just went to the other side of the tracks

Maybe. It looked to me like there was a barrier between, but maybe it's just my eyes playing tricks on me.
