Interesting, I didn't know that about Japan and the MMR vaccine.

They now administer each vaccine separately.
They've paid out
1.7over 4 billion dollars (as of 2019) so far in damages to people who suffered side effects.

Also the combination MMR vaccines are illegal in Japan, they do each one separately, because creating the combination requires the addition of additional chemicals they deem unsafe.
All combined, definitely something to consider.
