I think parents should cancel subscriptions. In our modern society, we're taught to be consumers; enjoying 'instant grati-fucked-cation'.
The problem with this, occurs 'down the road'. We used to, not very much, or very well, be taught to be self aware, and have personal responsibility. Part of that, is 'forward thinking'. Rather than the instant 'grati-fucked-cation', where by whatever felt good in the moment fucks you later, you instead, forward think of where you really want to be, may not be right, may not be wrong, but it at least gives you relevance to possible current actions.
I only mention this, as all of society seemingly is telling the youth, 'be free', 'be free', and the response to this for some reason is thrashing, and trashing your body; at least by way of the whole sure seems the case to me.
Elders at least for relevance do hold a place of importance. I guess anymore, looking at a 40+ year old tweaker, who lived that 'in the moment' lifestyle is the 21st century elder...muhahahaha
