I have arch linux on my tower, and antergos on my laptop, :D

arch is the king distro in my house, lol

arch is way faster than ubuntu.. at least for boot. I don't know how they do it. I'm digging it.

lol, with arch, you pretty much build it from the ground lol, you design it to what you need it for, lol, whether it be gaming, video editing, using it as a server system, lol.

ubuntu packs in a bunch of software and bloat, lol. you could prolly slim it down by uninstalling alot of un needed junk, idk for sure tho, rofl

I no longer enjoy using ubuntu. I know what you mean by bloat. I like to control what repos and applications gets installed.
