Step 1: Be heterosexual

Step 2: Have unsavoury and dissenting opinions about social issues such as race, gender, immigration, lgbt etc

Step 3 (optional): Be white or white-passing (such as Arabs, fair skinned Indians/Latinos, mixed raced people etc)

Step 4: Congratulations!! You have now been labelled and certified as an evil straight man/woman oppressor. Enjoy your status.

I really don't understand how they can be both straight and asexual. Clearly there is attraction to the opposite sex there even if there's no desire for sex.

Apparently, its acephobia to assume that asexuals don't have sex.. The other day I was reading a post by a deranged "asexual" woman who was describing how much she enjoyed sex and how it was bigotry to assume that asexuals don't enjoy sex... Words don't mean anything nowadays.

I was having an annoying discussion about this on Reddit just recently, where I dared to say that "asexual" just means whatever the person that's calling them asexual wants it to mean, and immediately some asexual person jumped out of the woodwork to clarify what asexual means. I said that's fine but I've seen so many different definitions of asexual that it's basically impossible to pin down what being asexual is.

They continued to argue with me ("I've never heard any other asexual person ever define it differently"), while literally on the same post there were other self-proclaimed asexuals giving completely different definitions.

If that doesn't just scream "I'm so special and unique look at me look at me" then I don't know what does.

Always frustrates me when people say "no one ever says that" when other people regularly do say that. I always like to give direct links to evidence that contradicts the claim.
