If you want to understand being "cisgender", all you've got to do is just be yourself. And by that, I mean I don't take any cross sex hormones, don't get cosmetic surgery and don't be delusional.

But what if you have a tattoo or green hair? You are non-binary then, and not cis! /s

Cis people get cosmetic surgery all the time, because it's usually about aesthetics and attractiveness, it's usually about "gender" when trans people get it.

For instance a cis man and woman's reason for fixing a weak chin are more or less the same reason, to be more attractive in general. A tran's person would see it as reaffirming their gender somehow.

Not sure whether cis women getting surgeries to enlarge their breasts would be seen as them wanting to "affirm their gender" or just make themselves more attractive as that gender.

Technically also if you apply that reasoning cis women are also doing it to affirm their gender ince it's about appearing more attractive, usually more feminine ?

If most straight guys find bigger better (or the woman believes that) then I think that would qualify as doing it to be more attractive.

prefers, identifies

Huh? Almost none of "cis" people identifies as anything or prefers any pronouns.

often

Why they are adding those words like everything is happening all the time and not rare exceptions,

usually

or like it is not always the case, when it is?

Yeah, I think it's funny when dudes on the internet call me "he" or "him".

I've mentioned blender accidents before.

halfway through i realized it was satire lol... but sadly very convincing.

MezozoicGayoldschool gay 22 insightful - 10 fun22 insightful - 9 fun23 insightful - 10 fun 3 years ago

I am pretty sure if any gender ideologist will see it, they will gladly use it without changes.

I am sure

I totally missed that it was satire. Read it again after seeing your comment and still missed it. The only thing that tipped me off was the professor in the bottom right corner.

lavender_menace 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun 3 years ago

the part about body dysmorphia didnโ€™t tip you off? How many โ€œcisโ€ people medicalize or have gender affirming surgeries?

latuspodSuper Straight 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun 3 years ago

Body dysmorphia has nothing to do with changing your gender. I am pretty sure it is involved in anorexia. I am a hairy dude and it caused a bit of embarrassment and self hate when I was a teen, not body dysmorphia, but all sorts of men have procedures to remove body hair to better represent societies opinion of an ideal man. Less drastic than what trans and non binary people have to do but still.

I am pretty sure the guys injecting themselves with synthol would suffer from body dysmorphia.

xanditAGAB (Assigned Gay at Birth) 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun 3 years ago

the part where it said its hard to tell who is cis gender tipped me off... I thought that was just to much even for the Q to believe lol

fuckupaddamsBisexual Terve 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun 3 years ago

It's satire but obviously from gender ideologists making fun of and analysing cis people the way that they feel like cis people do to trans people. It's still making fun of us lol.

[deleted] 21 insightful - 1 fun21 insightful - 0 fun22 insightful - 1 fun 3 years ago

i like the stereotypical depictions of the man and woman, not to mention the ridiculous proportions. these people really think that they're "progressive" when all they want to do is take us several steps backwards

fuckupaddamsBisexual Terve 8 insightful - 3 fun8 insightful - 2 fun9 insightful - 3 fun 3 years ago

Exactly... You get these extreme depictions of men and women all the time and then it's no wonder everyone goes "ew I don't identify with that (extreme depictions of a) man/woman I'm not a man/woman

Even though you'd hope they'd be smarter.

[deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun 3 years ago

i don't think they're very good at being smart lol

LasagnaRossa 20 insightful - 1 fun20 insightful - 0 fun21 insightful - 1 fun 3 years ago

I get it's satire, bit why did they still write that a cisgender man usually have a penis?

haveanicedaytoo๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’™ 17 insightful - 9 fun17 insightful - 8 fun18 insightful - 9 fun 3 years ago

I'm guessing to cover random accidents where a man's penis falls off from masturbating too much. There's always that one derailer who has to go "Ummm... but what about (random scenario that has a likelihood of 1/1,000,000,000,000 of ever happening.) is he still a man??? Huh???"

Willpoll 12 insightful - 5 fun12 insightful - 4 fun13 insightful - 5 fun 3 years ago

Did you know? not all cis people are straight many "identify" as gay, lesbian, and bisexual

That cracks me up.

NiceDickBro 8 insightful - 3 fun8 insightful - 2 fun9 insightful - 3 fun 3 years ago

latuspodSuper Straight 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun 3 years ago

When I look at this besides the utter bullshit and lunacy that it is, what I see is something that is so deeply nefarious. Because this was created by someone, produced as something to be shared to educate people. But what it is doing is the opposite of education, it is making things less clear, more ambiguous, and confusing. And that is their entire goal, the more confusing they can make all the gender bullshit the more people will rely on these gurus to share their special knowledge.

There also is the complete redefinition of mental health issues. If they can redefine mental health issues as something everyone experiences it makes it easier to cast away therapists, psychiatrists, and psychologists.

Two plus two is already five for these people, they just need to work their way into forcing the rest of society to believe it as well.

3MistersAndAMissy 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun 3 years ago

There isnโ€™t a cure for cisgenderism, but there are treatments available.

For adolescents, we have social media groups. They will work tirelessly to convince you of your transness. If you are lonely, they will be your family and friends. If you feel awkward about your body, they will lovebomb you into thinking you must be part of their group. They will employ positive reinforcement for transthink, and negative reinforcement for wrong think.

For older males we have porn, lots of sissy porn. Plus, access to lesbians and other womenโ€™s spaces.

I'm surprised that the "man" isn't blue.
