Society would benefit greatly from ending the war on drugs. No more cartels. Multibillions in taxes some of which could be used to help addicts who want help. Less people rotting in prison for victimless crimes. Unfortunately too many politicians are invested in the for profit prisons we have going here in the US, so would probably have to do it through executive order. Don’t think there’s any potential candidates atm brave enough to actually do it though.

He was not responsible for loading the gun, and I think it’s unreasonable to expect him to unload the gun to check if the ammunition was blanks instead of bullets. Thus I believe a reasonable person would find him innocent of even involuntary manslaughter.

No but circumstances matter, and as I’ve already stated I believe it is unreasonable to expect him to check the ammunition when the set “expert” was responsible for loading the gun with the proper ammunition.
