I haven't been able to access TPB for a while now. Pretty sure Comcast is blocking it. Anyone know what is an easy way around ISP level blocks? Is there a TOR address anyone has?

Sorry no clue, I just wanted to say Fuck Comcast.

It really is a shame that the cable companies are still getting away with having monopolies. It is literally illegal and still we can't do anything about it.

if you're not completely rural, you can start your own local wireless ISP. You might even be able to work with not-Comcast.

How? Any tutorial on how to do this?

It could be a 2022 project for me

If you're pirating with torrents and don't know what a VPN is you may literally be retarded

Canbot 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun 2 years ago

No sir, you are just a coward. It is not illegal for you to download, it is illegal for you to distribute. Good VPNs cost money and free VPNs are shitty and dangerous.

Lmao you might want to look up how torrents work; you aren't going to get very far with uploading turned off

Your arrogance should become better acquainted with your ignorance. You share until the download is complete. Then you remove the file from the download folder. At no point are you sharing the full file.

I've been torrenting and digitally hoarding for approaching 20 years. Never used a VPN.

Some people don't get caught. I was like you up until a few years ago I got a notice from my ISP notifying me and they turned my internet off for a day and threatened legal action.

It was much easier in Canada for a time. They changed the laws, so maybe not anymore. I'm not changing. Yet. Sooner than later I aim to start open-source VPN, VPS, IPFS, and TOR portal server(s) for SaidIt and my local region. /s/Cassy.

I have Comcast as an ISP and I use privateinternetaccess as a VPN. I can get to it just fine.

It's a great system and that is why it survives despite the richest, most powerful people on the planet trying thier damndest to destroy it. I can't imagine any other system being this robust.
