THE USSR never collapsed. Our entire government and its masters are controlled by the very people that backed Lenin and later Stalin, before the purge. Do not fall for the limited Hangout Russian Narratve. Trump has plenty of ties to Russian Oligarchs as does many crypto-communists on the left. Watch and read some books of Russian defectors to get an idea of the longterm goal of Maoism and stalinist socialism on western nations.
