Don't mean to start an internal war, but there's just a constant problem with bisexual people invading G spaces. I don't know if that's an issue also for lesbians, but it's becoming a real deal for gay men.
I see it on r/askgaybros all the time. There is just so many of bisexuals... like, what are they even doing there? This is a clear space for gay men and yet half of the users are bisexual. They justify it by claiming that this subreddit is for "everyone who is not straight". No, it's not. It's ask GAY bros.
The problem is that their takes are so bad... Trans post shows up, asking if we would "date a trans man?" Guess what, gay men respond "no, never" but bisexuals respond "yeah, sure" without specifying that they're bi. It makes these trans men spread misinformation that it's possible for gay men to like biological females and creates a natural hierarchy in which there are "good gays" (bisexuals) who are attracted to trans men and "bad gays" (actual gays) who aren't attracted to trans men because of their transphobia.
Same shit happens with "sexuality is fluid for everyone" argument. No, it's not. It's fluid for bisexuals. Yet they come into my gay space and inform me that I need to educate myself, just because their perspective is tainted and they can't imagine how it is to have no attraction for the other sex.
I believe this is a huge problem in the slowly forming LGB community. I don't say we should "Drop the B", but maybe it's time to say "stop" to bisexuals, so they create their own spaces, which are currently underdeveloped, because they needlessly latch onto other letters.
