Was this supposed to be woke or anti-woke or what?

It's definitely woke, but more in a 2000s kind of way. The victimhood is subtle, not over-the-top like it is nowadays. Also, this show was mainly made by white people; Seth McFarlane specifically. Although the black people voice acting in this destroying their career like Mindy Kaling with "Velma" are also to blame.
