You might just be horny bro

EDIT: but on a more serious note, men are taught that taking care of themselves and caring about their appearance too much is gay. Women on the other hand are obsessive and competitive about it, so of course they are more put together and more dolled up with makeup / styles / whatever than men are. That being said, there are plenty of attractive guys in college. A lot of them just don't flaunt it like women do, unless they're into sports and they have an "excuse" to be vain in public.

It's not a taught behaviour, it's human nature. Men just don't care as much about grooming as women do.

That is certainly changing, and I don't mean in a soy way. Men are opening up to thinks like lotion, grooming has become popular especially with the explosion of beards, a lot of men men are also starting to wear a little more jewelry than we did in the past, maybe multiple rings, necklaces, bands, earings, etc.

a woman told me she always looks at a man's hands first and likes when they have bracelets or rings on. I decided I don't like that but I got into wearing nice watches.

I've known a few effeminate dressing straight guys that are basically always getting girls. Like it's an effective strategy I guess. Basically stereotypical well groomed homosexuals except they aren't gay. Weird fashion painted nails hair styles all that shit.

Can't deny the results though the type that goes for it isn't exactly mine. Girls be a bit crazy I think.
