Girl you could've just said "bi pride". People are telling you you're "not gay enough" because you're not fucking gay. You're bi.

I actually very much support bi people like this (dating history with only one sex) in coming out because it raises awareness for closeted bisexuals that no, it's not normal for straight people to "experiment" with the same sex and enjoy it, or for lesbian/gay people to "experiment" with the opposite sex and enjoy it, yes, it's normal for bi people to only have dating history with one sex (usually opposite but more frequently than you'd think, same); it helps dispel the "sexuality is fluid" myths that this type of bisexual is likely to believe which is helpful to all LGB because it preserves the rigid definitions of the orientations.

Also lol, the only thing remotely feminine about the second lady's husband is his pink jacket.

[–]usehername 30 insightful - 3 fun30 insightful - 2 fun31 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

Mostly yes. It's not so much that TRA's are evil rapist men who want to degrade and destroy women, but that the majority of trans-identified males (I think that term is fantastic) nowadays keep their penis, and tend to have AGP. There are a lot of high-profile trans-identified male trolls like Johnathan Yaniv and Alok "Little Girls are Kinky" Vaid-Menon legally being disgusting kiddie-lovers and woman haters/rapists. The current laws around transgender people allow these kinds of men to prosper and not many people seem to give a shit, which is why GC is extra outraged. Andrea Long Chu is a very famous "trans woman" who said that the bare essentials of being female are blank, dead eyes, and an expectant asshole. There are actually a lot of men like this.

Women who don't hop on board the trans train usually lose their careers and platforms, which can give the illusion that most women agree with trans "rights" (privileges). A "real woman" is female, and anyone pro-science agrees.

Ridiculous. Trans/nb people are not excluded from bisexuality by definition because bisexuality is attraction to males and females, so yes, idiots who think trans/nb people are a third sex are wrong about that. However, it's unacceptable to throw a huge tantrum over being sexually rejected. Bi people aren't hard-wired to be unattracted to them based on their sex, but that doesn't mean they don't have preferences.

I came across this site trying to look for genuine research into the causes of homosexuality and instead found this horrible case of conservative homophobia reinforced by liberal homophobia. The website is run by Muslim "researchers" who define sexual orientation as being based on gender identity (thanks, reluctantcommenter). I posted this before, but it was filtered out by Automod. A long-time lurker, I immediately made an account after seeing this site just to post it, but Automod wanted post history.

Particularly damning quote:

"Decades of research have not provided any clear genetic or hormonal mechanisms that would mean homosexual men are born “feminised” or homosexual women are born “masculinised”. What we do find however is that the gender identity of homosexual individuals in childhood, is significantly disrupted as a result of dysfunctional relationships with heterosexual role models of the same gender and members of the same-gender peer groups. This demonstrates that homosexual orientation is dependent in such cases, not on biological gender differences, but on psychological gender differences. This supports the notion that homosexuality is the product of a psychological gender-identity disorder, born out of a failure to identify and receive acceptance from other members of the same biological gender group, whether they be parents or peers. Sexual orientation is only one part of this gender identity disorder. This is demonstrated by the fact that gender non-conformity in childhood is the most powerful predictor of later homosexuality. This development of a psychological gender-identity of the opposite sex, as evinced by childhood gender non-conformity, strangely demonstrates that gay individuals are actually expressing a heterosexual orientation through their homosexual desire. The same goes for gay women, vice-versa. Since they psychologically consider themselves as belonging to the opposite sex, they develop homosexual attractions to members of their own biological gender. More than that, homosexual cravings are also it seems rooted in a desire for acceptance and affection from members of one’s biological gender, a desire that becomes sexualised with adolescence, resulting in early adolescent homosexual experiences."

TLDR: They assert that homosexuality is mostly caused by social factors such as peer rejection and having a bad relationship with one's parents, and is a "gender identity disorder".

Actually, it is a pressing issue that some trans people want to redefine the words gay and lesbian to include the opposite sex, giving credibility to conversion therapists and "corrective" rapists. It's also pressing when it's not okay to talk about being a homosexual anymore because opposite-sex people want to have sex with (rape) homosexuals so bad that it hurts their feelings when they even talk about being homosexual, so those trans people get all spaces for homosexuals disbanded or removed and create bisexual spaces LARPing as homosexual spaces to replace them, so they can fulfill their fantasies of being so validated as the opposite sex that a homosexual would actually have sex with them.

"It" is actually the correct gender-neutral pronoun in the English language, but it's never used for humans because humans are either male or female, so they are referred to by either the masculine "he" or feminine "she." "They" is just the plural form of "it," but we see it as more humanizing because "they" is actually used to describe groups of humans, while "it" is never used for humans. Personally, I wouldn't refer to anyone as either. I always use the correct sex-based pronouns. I hate lying.

Is there no policy about public indecency during parades in U.S.?

You have to literally have your genitals (or nipples, if you're a woman) out to be charged with public indecency.

I think you've blocked me but fuck it I'll reply. No one is hateful towards bisexuals except that ONE guy who keeps making new accounts. Pointing out that bisexuals (usually ones who are not out) harm the LGB community in specific ways isn't a "hate boner". No one is fucking blaming you for that so being defensive isn't doing you or anyone else any favors. You're attempting to shut down discussion when as bisexual people we should be focusing on solutions to integrate these people into our community so the conflict can cease.

I agree with barbie that it's a bit of a circlejerk, but this is our only place to go where people share our opinions. There are debate subs and the like. If you're sick of this place and don't do anything about it in real life then the solutions are obvious.

Joey (Blaire's bf) is bi, but claims he's straight because of internalized homophobia. Even Blaire knows it's BS. I can't speak for all bi people, but it seems like him and I had a similar experience with our sexuality. We both thought we were monosexual (in his case, straight, in mine, lesbian) until we realized there was just a certain amount of femininity we were attracted to in either men or women, but it's very rare that men are actually that feminine. Joey also has an extra layer of being in denial about his same-sex attraction. Not to mention they're both pretending Blaire is a woman which adds an extra layer of confusion and denial.

I'm not surprised by this video. Blaire's the self-declared cleanup crew for the trans community. However, his criticism of the crazy shit TRAs do is toothless because he believes truscum/transmed ideology so he can never get the issues at the root.

And for your final question, they're bi. It doesn't matter if a guy only likes ultra-feminine men with breast implants like Blaire. He is attracted to that man. He's bi.

That is abuse of both her husband and her daughter, plain and simple. I just want a little clarity. Are you saying that her abuse was on par with the actions of second-wave feminism at the time? Second-wave feminism was a political movement that accomplished a lot for women's rights, and I haven't seen anything from second-wave feminists promoting or condoning this type of abuse in the home. If that's the sort of thing they would discuss in "feminist" women's groups, they're misusing the label "feminism".

AGPs may have fantasies involving men and may go so far as to actually have sex with them, but it's only because that's part of their fantasy of them being a woman. The man isn't really the focus. It seems like this guy is genuinely interested in men which makes me think HSTS. But honestly, it could be either.

edit: I've since changed my stance on this. If a man who's attracted to women enjoys being fucked by another man, there's no "well but it doesn't count because xyz" he's just bisexual. I think the whole "doesn't count because..." rhetoric is a problem amongst bisexuals and it obscures reality.

I assumed from your comment you were an anti-feminist. Now that I look at your post history, I see you describe yourself as "anti-male", which explains why you'd accuse me of being an MRA for saying that men should not be financially abused. I wouldn't say I'm a radfem, but they have some very interesting takes on our society and patriarchy. However, I'm turned off of the whole thing by people like you, the whole political lesbianism thing, and science denial I've seen in the community. So, keep spitting bile I guess.

Very intentional: complete erasure of same-sex attraction and lack of opposite-sex attraction. I find this one especially disturbing because of how explicit it is, but also the way that a normie parent wouldn't even notice that.

Also I think u/OPPRESSED_REPTILIAN made a comment awhile back on the extremely shitty yet recognizable art style of trans TRAs. He's so right.

I 100% agree. These types drive me fucking batty. Plus, since there are more bisexuals than homosexuals, their voices drown out those of actual homosexuals, so this fake definition of homosexuality becomes popularized. Bisexuals doing this is a huge problem and honestly is not recognized by the bi community at large. It's hand-waved by hets and some bis as "sexuality is fluid1!1!", but when the issue is brought up among sane bi people, they feel it's scapegoating. In my eyes, bi people are the majority of useful idiots behind this ideology. I'm not blaming all bi people, but the majority of people that do this are bi (though they usually lean heavily towards one sex) and it's not offensive to say so. Most heterosexuals don't get involved in something like this unless they have a fetish or are very young and trying to look cool.

Autogynephilia in public is inherently rapey. No trans activist will ever be able to convince me otherwise. They're basically demanding all people, lesbian women in particular, essentially be unwitting sexual tools for them. Fucking gross.

100% agree. Subjecting people to your kink without their consent is rapey as hell and there's no defense for it. It should legally be considered sexual harassment.

Blues clues is for extremely young children, and I'm personally against exposing young kids to the concept of sexuality at all. It would be fine to have a same-sex couple, but this excessive focus on sexuality is fucking creepy. And all the fake sexualities... it's gonna take awhile to deprogram those kids.

Yeah... sigh

As for what they want? People have different opinions on this. For some, the pronoun they list first is their favorite, but they will accept being called the second. Others do want you to switch between both. I'd say the majority of she/they and he/theys would prefer to be called "they", but know deep down it's ridiculous and don't want to make a huge fuss about people who won't play along.

“Why can’t I wear a dress to church like Grace?” she asked at age four.

Just let him wear it... honestly. You're gonna try to change the laws just so you don't have to explain to your kid why sports are sex-segregated? I don't want to hear a damn thing about him "not being allowed to participate in sports". Just play with the rest of the boys and continue cheerleading. When I was in high school, cheer was not sex-segregated, it's just that very few boys join. Stories of "trans kids" make me sick. Everyone is lying to this little boy. If only he (or the adults who are responsible for him) had the capacity/care to understand how royally they are gonna fuck this kid over if they "transition" him hormonally and surgically.

Only to the extent that referring to someone as any other characteristic would be: "a blonde", "a brunette", "an Italian". Do you also take issue with these terms? Of course, a person is much more than the color of their hair or their nationality, but we refer to them using specific characteristics when it's relevant. For example, if you are describing someone's looks, you may call them a brunette. If you're talking about a person in the context of the politics in their country, you may refer to them by their nationality. When we talk about LGB in the context of "LGBTQ+", we may refer to LGB people as "homosexuals" in order to differentiate them from the rest of TQ+.
