Why the hell does that matter? If the couple divorces and they have kids younger than 18 then he's bound to pay alimony, regardless of the cause of divorce.

Besides, it's plausible it's unpreventable and caused during the marriage too.

Imo, sure. If you're incompatible, then you have the reason do divorce.

I don't see how does that liberate the husband from paying alimony.

You didn't specify what you like so I'll list some random ones I liked:

Rubber: a car tire comes to life.

Eraserhead: man becomes a single father as his wife leaves him with his newborn baby.

Who's that singing over there? : a group of people takes a bus ride from various rural places to Belgrade.

Little Otik: a couple wants a child but can't conceive. Man finds a tree log and they start play-pretending it's their baby. The log comes to life.

Beyond the Hills: two girls grew up together. One leaves to Germany to work and another becomes a nun. The first comes back, reunites with her friend and tries to convince her to leave monastic life and go to Germany with her. Other nuns and the local priest aren't keen on her.

Separation: Iranian couple decides to divorce. She wants them to move to the US and provide their daughter better life. He doesn't want to leave his ill father.
