To be more specific, it's known as "Alegria" or "Corporate Memphis".

There has been some 4chan analysis on what purpose it serves. E.g., erasing skin color and Cartesian sense in order to avoid "body shame" or whatever. Though that begs the question why every ad, banner, and header has to have peoploids on them doing nothing relevant, instead of images at least vaguely related to the business. This bothers me the most from certain grocery stores and similar, and those even keep realistic skin colors. Maybe that's one step more woke than even Alegria, I don't know. It's all a step down from their exclusively-black stock photography, because it's confounding enough to be distracting.

Children in the US aren't routinely vaccinated against polio or smallpox any more, because it doesn't appear, because of the success of the vaccine, according to all indications. Other places show the same success, like India a few years ago.

Viewing posts based on tag is a good idea. It's been proposed before. Tags versus containers is a long debate on things like bookmarks. Though I haven't seen a reddit-like site that's implemented it yet, so I don't know exactly what it would look like.

You could #tag or whatever all your own posts, or in a sub of your own, and try to get it to catch on.

Making it easier to find posts based on tags might increase participation. Duplicate posts, for me, would not. I've seen that before and it's tiresome.

Edit: Actually, I can think of some sites that use tags, but their interfaces are tuned for microblogging rather than link aggrogation. Minds and Gurlic both use tags and timelines, but I can't tell if I hate their tags or just their Facebook/Twitter style. Oh well.
