US, in the South. I don't think so. Us folks of the younger generations are more LGBT-friendly, but it's of course trans-centric. I've never met another lesbian that I know of. I wouldn't feel safe holding a girl's hand in public, honestly.

Hey there! No advice unfortunately, but I'm in the same position of being dependent on a homophobic father. It really sucks and gets pretty lonely. Hang in there, I wish you luck in your situation improving soon!
