I'm currently into ESO, the first one. I loved skyrim V and was scared of it all moving online, but it's honestly not bad at all. I love the customization that there is and the lore books you can find about. Some of them are so funny!
I was also into We Happy Few there for a little bit. If you like sneaky strategic games, it's a good game to give a try.
Xbox Live Gold 12-month subscription removed from Microsoft Store by JoyFreak in Gaming
I've seen this. It's looking like they're keeping the 1 month and 3 month, though. Personally, game pass is seriously worth it. I got introduced to eso that way and I love it. If that's the route they want to go (more emphasis on game pass), I'm cool with it. What are your thoughts?
Is anyone into JurassicWorldAlive the mobile game on here? I was mainly a part of that over at reddit and I was wondering if there could be a community like that here.

Yea it is obvious how much propaganda is at play over there. And even here, so be careful. Be sure to check out u/magnora7 posts about the recent ddos attacks and the shills that are trying to drive people away from here. I guess this site is getting popular enough that the puppeteers have us on their radar.

I agree with your sentiment here. I think it's best to let every radical and rational discuss however they want to discuss. They deserve a safe place to vent, debate.. Whatever...just as much as you or I.
People will hate black people, jews, white women.. There's no stopping it. Just let them have their platform. That's what comes with free speech, after all. If you continue to censor these kinds of opinions, the people will just find another place to belong.
Welcome! What was the last straw for you? Did anything happen to you personally?

The same people who say we need to "stop with the anti-semitism" are the same ones who will support anti-White rhetoric as free speech by EuropeanAwakening in SaidIt
Reddit's problem was also the lazy propaganda and manipulation. I find it quite comforting to see the shills scramble for control and then it backfiring in their face.
Yes you gave me a unique perspective into what you think would solve alot of issues across, not only saidit, but social media generally.
I think, personally, I'm scared of a down vote button. But my reasoning is because I fear being ignored or dismissed by having, even what many would consider, an innocent unpopular opinion. It's happened to me before on reddit and it sent me spiraling into a sort of existential, lonely depression. I know I shouldn't be that impressionable. So I'm wondering if the fear of a down vote button is something that needs to be overcome, or if there is a middle ground that needs to be discovered.
Greetings from a Pro-Iran, Pro-Theocracy, Anti-Liberal, Anti-Sodomite Poster who is thoroughly disgusted by Reddit by PeddaKondappa in Introductions
That's all really interesting. You make me want to look into that alot more. Do you think there's benefits to openly accepting the imposition of feminism and gay rights (be it culture or money), and has Iran stood to miss out on opportunities these would grant them?
Or do you think western civilizations simply use these things as ploys to appease the "sheep" to better control them and profit off of them by pandering to them? As I speculate that myself, it seems the latter is definitely the least honorable avenue to take.
Joy freak? Any relation to the game called We Happy Few?
You are pro Iran. Could you summarize what your main points are here? I'm genuinely interested. Since joining this site, I've become less and less of a cautious, scared little lurker and I find myself actively seeking out people with wildly different views (even racists) because I know a discussion will not delve into a witch hunt. I feel comfortable and more confident learning about different perspectives here and commenting whatever I feel is necessary. Looking forward to your thoughts!

I've read your reply here and I agree with you. You've also taught me about external locus of control and I'm wanting to look more into that.
In your opinion, do you think these back and forth arguments on platforms such as these (where there's no downvoting) helps or hurts your perspective? Do you think common ground can ever come from it?

Wow well said. I am ashamed to say that seeing some of the hateful stuff was making me lose faith in saidit as well. But what you're saying is making sense.
It's helping me, instead, to look into these posts that originally made me anxious and shy away as an opportunity to gain insight and understanding. I'm learning that you can really learn alot when you read from the radicals and the rationals. The tricky part is staying grounded because, honestly, no one is immune to manipulation.
Uh no not weird at all. They both have really good points. They may both be a bit brash but honestly, it's refreshing seeing the back and forth. I feel like this is how arguments should be. I feel like I'm learning from both sides the more and more I get opportunities like this. Insight into different perspectives.

That after I personally weened off of my dependence on Marijuana, it was annoying to me and was just as obnoxious as cigarette smoke.
I relied on weed incessantly for being able to grocery shop, talk to people... Whatever. And I hated being not sober. I explained how I wanted to be able to do those things sober.
I was called fogey, and my message apparently translated as me saying how I'm superior and a "condescending piece of shit".
I told him in the comment section how he was a "hypocritical piece of shit" for calling me, condescendingly, a piece of shit. My post got deleted. I received a ban. I messaged the mods and was like wtf? They said that they wouldn't tolerate aggressive behavior. So I asked why he gets to say that aggressive stuff to me? They said well, he reported, you didn't. Report him. I was okay thanks. Then they immediately muted me so I couldn't report him.
Dude you can get banned for anything. I got banned from an unpopular opinion subreddit because I had, apparently, the most unpopular opinion about Marijuana lol.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I wish this world would allow non-heated debates over sensitive subjects, because then we all might actually learn something from one another and go somewhere with it.
Currently it all feels like a race to find out who's right and who's wrong. But I've always found it interesting to, instead, discuss these kinds of hot button topics with anyone who strongly opposes me, because I believe knowing both sides of the equation can really strengthen your foundation. This strong foundation, in turn, allows you to succeed in getting your point across in future debates and allows you to sound educated.
All I see now are groups staying within their comfort zones of ideas. I've always felt that if there isn't at least one thing about "your side" that you inherently disagree with, you're not being challenged. You're not learning anything. You're not growing. This is my reasoning behind why I love discussing with people who oppose me.
But people hinder you from learning anymore these days because if you disagree with even a tiny mechanism of the larger machine, you're automatically the enemy.

As a woman, I strongly disagree with the transgender shit. Here's my reasoning. (holy shit I can say this without a ban!)
A man wanting to become a woman only wants the beauty of being a woman. He doesn't want the menstrual bullshit.. The roller coaster of emotions, the pain of bearing children.. No he wants to be able to be accepted for wearing dresses and makeup and YASSSSS gurl accent. He wants to perpetuate the female stereotype, all while screaming "ThErES nO gEnDeR!"
Being a woman isn't all grace, beauty, fashion...it's pain, suffering and confusion...its just being human is what I'm getting at. You're not a woman by cutting off your dick or by putting on a dress and being good at blending your makeup. That stuff doesn't make a woman. Those are stereotypes.
Tell me how you feel like a woman? What does that even mean? The only time I'm reminded that I am a woman is when my female organs start yelling at me and stabbing me from within.
By wanting to be the other gender, you're just admitting that gender stereotypes are true for you.
Is this line of thinking sound? I'd like some feedback honestly. Especially from an opposing side so I can discuss it.

"The students won't cheat in exams if they value their learning more than we value their grades." - Richard Feynman by muellermeierschulz in quotes
Do you think that has anything to do with how it just feels like every exam is just a way to jerk off the school by showing off how great their scores are?
I've always felt like alot of those tests do just that, but I also understand that certain subjects, such as calculus /trigonometry simply trains your brain to think critically and logically instead of it being all about teaching you that sinx2+cosx2=1. Obviously those skills won't get you far unless you are in a specific career which uses formulas in their everyday jobs.

“If we are pressuring women to pursue jobs and careers over family and homemaking, then we are still oppressing women." - Mrs. Midwest by calmbluejay in BiblicalSubmission
I can see this point. I am on the other side of it I think. I feel like I have the freedom to pursue a life of working hard and getting a bomb ass career in the STEM field.
Perhaps this has alot to do with the fact that growing up, all I heard was however men are simply better at math and women were artsy. I loved the idea of math and engineering but I always thought that I wasn't destined to be good at it.
But I'm almost done with my associates in engineering and I absolutely love how easily I've been learning all these new "manly" concepts.
Im against having a family of my own but that has alot to do with my shitty childhood. I also know I'd be a selfish mom who probably isn't capable of being affectionate.
All that to say, I think alot of factors go into this and it's interesting just talking about it openly without judgment or censorship on here. It's great having all this different opinions going around and no one is calling anyone a name.
I'll be creating a new sub in 6 days that will be interesting and entertaining! I don't want to spoil it. Hope to see you there soon!

I'm almost hesitant to restate it.. But I said Marijuana is becoming as annoying as cigarettes. The presence of it and how it's more of a fashion statement.
I stated how I used to be dependent on being in an altered state of mind to do alot of things like grocery shopping and generally just being out in public.
I went on to say how I started on my journey to be happy sober. That translated, somehow, to me thinking I was superior to everyone who does smoke.
People said things like "okay mom" and outright called me a piece of shit. I, unfortunately, fired back. I should have known better than to argue. I couldn't help it, given the irony of the situation. On r/unpopularopinion you would think that the best posts would be the most downvoted... Not the most guilded. Yet there I was getting torn apart for an actual unpopular opinion.
Someone called me a condescending piece of shit... I called them a hypocritical piece of shit and then I got banned for bad manners. I messaged the mods explaining how I commented that in response to their nearly identical response just to point out their hypocrisy. They told me that other people breaking the rules don't change the rules for me. And that I should report them. I said okay cool. Then they immediately muted me so I couldn't report them.
Now I'm here lol.
