I'm currently into ESO, the first one. I loved skyrim V and was scared of it all moving online, but it's honestly not bad at all. I love the customization that there is and the lore books you can find about. Some of them are so funny!

I was also into We Happy Few there for a little bit. If you like sneaky strategic games, it's a good game to give a try.

Yea it is obvious how much propaganda is at play over there. And even here, so be careful. I guess this site is getting popular enough that the puppeteers have us on their radar.

I agree with your sentiment here. I think it's best to let every radical and rational discuss however they want to discuss. They deserve a safe place to vent, debate.. Whatever...just as much as you or I.

People will hate black people, jews, white women.. There's no stopping it. Just let them have their platform. That's what comes with free speech, after all. If you continue to censor these kinds of opinions, the people will just find another place to belong.

Yes you gave me a unique perspective into what you think would solve alot of issues across, not only saidit, but social media generally.

I think, personally, I'm scared of a down vote button. But my reasoning is because I fear being ignored or dismissed by having, even what many would consider, an innocent unpopular opinion. It's happened to me before on reddit and it sent me spiraling into a sort of existential, lonely depression. I know I shouldn't be that impressionable. So I'm wondering if the fear of a down vote button is something that needs to be overcome, or if there is a middle ground that needs to be discovered.

That's all really interesting. You make me want to look into that alot more. Do you think there's benefits to openly accepting the imposition of feminism and gay rights (be it culture or money), and has Iran stood to miss out on opportunities these would grant them?

Or do you think western civilizations simply use these things as ploys to appease the "sheep" to better control them and profit off of them by pandering to them? As I speculate that myself, it seems the latter is definitely the least honorable avenue to take.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I wish this world would allow non-heated debates over sensitive subjects, because then we all might actually learn something from one another and go somewhere with it.

Currently it all feels like a race to find out who's right and who's wrong. But I've always found it interesting to, instead, discuss these kinds of hot button topics with anyone who strongly opposes me, because I believe knowing both sides of the equation can really strengthen your foundation. This strong foundation, in turn, allows you to succeed in getting your point across in future debates and allows you to sound educated.

All I see now are groups staying within their comfort zones of ideas. I've always felt that if there isn't at least one thing about "your side" that you inherently disagree with, you're not being challenged. You're not learning anything. You're not growing. This is my reasoning behind why I love discussing with people who oppose me.

But people hinder you from learning anymore these days because if you disagree with even a tiny mechanism of the larger machine, you're automatically the enemy.

As a woman, I strongly disagree with the transgender shit. Here's my reasoning. (holy shit I can say this without a ban!)

A man wanting to become a woman only wants the beauty of being a woman. He doesn't want the menstrual bullshit.. The roller coaster of emotions, the pain of bearing children.. No he wants to be able to be accepted for wearing dresses and makeup and YASSSSS gurl accent. He wants to perpetuate the female stereotype, all while screaming "ThErES nO gEnDeR!"

Being a woman isn't all grace, beauty, fashion...it's pain, suffering and confusion...its just being human is what I'm getting at. You're not a woman by cutting off your dick or by putting on a dress and being good at blending your makeup. That stuff doesn't make a woman. Those are stereotypes.

Tell me how you feel like a woman? What does that even mean? The only time I'm reminded that I am a woman is when my female organs start yelling at me and stabbing me from within.

By wanting to be the other gender, you're just admitting that gender stereotypes are true for you.

Is this line of thinking sound? I'd like some feedback honestly. Especially from an opposing side so I can discuss it.

Do you think that has anything to do with how it just feels like every exam is just a way to jerk off the school by showing off how great their scores are?

I've always felt like alot of those tests do just that, but I also understand that certain subjects, such as calculus /trigonometry simply trains your brain to think critically and logically instead of it being all about teaching you that sinx2+cosx2=1. Obviously those skills won't get you far unless you are in a specific career which uses formulas in their everyday jobs.

I can see this point. I am on the other side of it I think. I feel like I have the freedom to pursue a life of working hard and getting a bomb ass career in the STEM field.

Perhaps this has alot to do with the fact that growing up, all I heard was however men are simply better at math and women were artsy. I loved the idea of math and engineering but I always thought that I wasn't destined to be good at it.

But I'm almost done with my associates in engineering and I absolutely love how easily I've been learning all these new "manly" concepts.

Im against having a family of my own but that has alot to do with my shitty childhood. I also know I'd be a selfish mom who probably isn't capable of being affectionate.

All that to say, I think alot of factors go into this and it's interesting just talking about it openly without judgment or censorship on here. It's great having all this different opinions going around and no one is calling anyone a name.

I'm almost hesitant to restate it.. But I said Marijuana is becoming as annoying as cigarettes. The presence of it and how it's more of a fashion statement.

I stated how I used to be dependent on being in an altered state of mind to do alot of things like grocery shopping and generally just being out in public.

I went on to say how I started on my journey to be happy sober. That translated, somehow, to me thinking I was superior to everyone who does smoke.

People said things like "okay mom" and outright called me a piece of shit. I, unfortunately, fired back. I should have known better than to argue. I couldn't help it, given the irony of the situation. On r/unpopularopinion you would think that the best posts would be the most downvoted... Not the most guilded. Yet there I was getting torn apart for an actual unpopular opinion.

Someone called me a condescending piece of shit... I called them a hypocritical piece of shit and then I got banned for bad manners. I messaged the mods explaining how I commented that in response to their nearly identical response just to point out their hypocrisy. They told me that other people breaking the rules don't change the rules for me. And that I should report them. I said okay cool. Then they immediately muted me so I couldn't report them.
