Hello, I just wanted this to be public and searchable to help protect others.
I was a patient and victim of an unlicensed psychologist in Massachusetts. The Board of Psychologists and Bureau of Health Professions Licensure verified this to me....Yet, despite this being fraud and illegal, they are doing nothing and will only use their resources on licensed individuals. They've recommend that I talk to police or get a lawyer. Lawyers for mental health damages are very difficult to find, if at all. And the police have not been helpful and are dismissive. It's such a broken, corrupt system..
What's disheartening is that she snuck through the radar and took patients at Bristol Community College, New Hampshire Technical Institute, Mount Ida, and Wellesley College among MANY other campuses. She is committing fraud and has been breaching serious ethical conduct. For students trying to whistleblow or expose her, she has blackmailed them or abused her authority to silence them.
I recommend that if you are seeing someone for counseling, Google your state and type in licensee search. Make sure your psychologists/therapists are licensed to protect yourself. Patients are at risk when they are seen by unlicensed individuals. Stay safe out there...
