My sweeps got an awful lot better when it was explained to me that all sweeps require creating a connection, loading the person's weight onto you, and taking away a post.

Prior to that I was just hacking away at the post and wondering why they weren't moving.

Wow, I'm usually a little late to the party so that's a surprise!

I think the BJJ sub has escaped a lot of what's going on.... people are still focused on "are there any gyms open yet?"

I'll keep checking in though and tell some non-redditing friends too.
