If you want to measure a subset like race, raw numbers show white people are twice as likely to be killed by police than blacks. As a representation of percentage of race whites are at 50% of killed to 50% of population, but blacks are twice as likely to be killed by police when compared to whites at 26% killed to 13% of population. If you consider that black males represent 7% of the population yet commit 54% of violent crimes the statistic should be 54% to 7% of the population. So per capita, you are almost 8 times more likely to be killed by a cop if you are white instead of black.
