Saidit's sub 'subscribe' system is an opt-out system […] This means that when your account is created, you're automatically subscribed to all subs

So what happens when theres 10,000s of subreddits, and I make a new account? Will I be subscribed to all those? Or is it just for the time being due to low traffic on anything?

When will 2FA be implemented? It would be great if it was phone-free too (i.e. QR code, or code).

Do you have a roadmap of new features that will be coming?

Thanks!

Quick edit: coming back to my first question, it may not be a good idea whatsoever to do the "sub to all" thing. There's already a few weird subreddits that people may not want to see. I understand the audience Saidit is appealing too, but still, some people may not want to see that stuff (i.e. Pizzagate)

There seems to be no way to unsubscribe from a subreddit? Also, is that what they're called: subreddits?

Imperium (2018) Volume I: A meta-documentary on child trafficking by noah in conspiracy

[–]noah[S] 3 insightful - 1 funny3 insightful - 0 funny4 insightful - 1 funny -  (0 children)

Volume I contains Parts 1—5 (running time: 1 hr and 57 min)

Volume II contains Parts 6—10. (running time: 2 hr and 40 min)

Made by Reddit user: /u/AwayResolution

What they had to say:

This sub and all the research posted here really has opened my eyes regarding child trafficking. Thank you to everyone here for all the research you’ve shared. There is clear evidence that child trafficking is a worldwide industry. The most frightening part of it is that it is not a poorly-financed group of petty criminals – it a well-financed, well-organised operation. And it is used by large capital interests, primarily to entrap and blackmail people in power, including politicians, businessmen, the media, and even the police. If you’re wondering why our governments seem to continually serve large corporate interests instead of their voters, this is one of the reasons.

The material is out there and it is reliable. So much work has gone into investigating the issue and producing the material – all I’ve done is put it together into one package to tell a comprehensive narrative, so you can see it all in one place. This is what I’ve done – the film is called Imperium and I’ll release it tomorrow. The film is split into ten parts, told over two films (Volume I is 1hr57, Volume II is 2hr40). Once I release it it will be yours. It belongs to all of you and always has. I hope it sheds some light on the issue.

[Reddit] TheBanout2018: "Yesterday, we recieved this message from the admins" by noah in conspiracy

Yesterday, we recieved this message from the admins.

[Hey mods, I wanted to talk to you about some issues with this subreddit. There are a few issues in the way that you are misleading users into thinking you're responsible for the recent subreddit bands. We also noticed (REDACTED) was put on your "hitlist" of subreddits which really is to alright as it is creating unnecessary troubles for that moderator team. On a side note, we're also seeing increased reports of abuse and targeting of the moderators of this subreddit, which complicates the efforts of our support teams to help you and other moderators in regular day-today support. Most importantly, this makes it more difficult for us to do our jobs policing the site.

We'd like you to stop misleading users, and stop stirring up troubles for other communities moving forward. Let me know if you have any questions.]

I closed the subreddit because I still had an ounce of respect for the admins.

today, the admins have ignored all of our questions and replies so I am electing to ignore the admins message until such point that they decide to speak to us. we are open to a discussion not a statement.

The list has been shortened to the subreddits most recently reported and the most blatantly ignored.

There was a sidebar list, and the wiki list. The subs I listed are from both.

Not sure why they were removed.

They were once on the banning list or the wiki, but they are no longer on either.

"Phase 3 has begun" (Archive)

Original Post

Not sure the of the legitimacy or power the moderators have on that subreddit.

As they describe, their goal is to remove subreddits from Reddit, that allegedly violate sidewide rules.

They are claiming to be responsible for the banning of several subreddits already, including (from Phase 1):

MillionDollarExtreme, MillionDollarExtreme2, billionshekelsupreme, GorillionYuanDream, trillionrubelregime, ChadRight, debatechadright, HydeNationalism, SamHydeFanCult, ChadLeft, BSSneverdies

There are currently 4 phases, 2 of them being complete already.

Some upcoming bannings/removals include: The_Donald, yiffinhell, transgenderkids, sjwhate, TheRedPill, 4Chan, againstmensrights, LeftistWatch.

(Please note: all future archives will be of at time of update/comment, therefore, might not be the most up-to-date version)

Australian film-maker James Ricketson sentenced to six years' jail in Cambodia for documenting a rally with a drone by noah in censorship

Australian film-maker James Ricketson has been found guilty of espionage in Cambodia and sentenced to six years in jail.

His family say they are devastated at his conviction and sentence, and have called on the Australian government to pressure Cambodia to release him.

Ricketson, 69, said he had worked as a journalist and video documenter in the south-east Asian country since 1995 and was arrested in June 2017 for flying a drone at a political rally. He has been incarcerated since then, with the guilty verdict given this morning by a three-judge panel in the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh.

Thanks for the offer, but there's probably not much point since RES features will becoming native on SaidIt. I'm happy to wait haha.
