Could I also get an invite code, or instructions on how to get one? I was never quite able to figure out how to go about requesting/getting one?

I found that whole "black trans lives matter" trending/being shouted a lot louder that "black women's lives matter" to be concerning too. I can't think of a single black transwoman who's been killed wrongfully by the police, but I can certainly think of a few black women off the top of my head, especially the most recent tragedy with Breonna Taylor.

Sorry for the late response, I agree completely. I was honestly shocked at that major cop out. He refused to admit I was right, but also couldn't tell me I was wrong. We're broken up now, for more reasons than this disagreement we had, but it definitely didn't help finding out he really has no respect for me as a woman.

We're broken up now, and you were totally right. We agreed on most things, but writing off women's fears as fear mongering didn't sit right with me and it kept gnawing at me once I found out he felt that way. There were a lot of small things leading up to the break up anyway, I don't think we really clicked on a romantic level, but this disagreement really helped me hasten the break up.

I know you replied almost a month ago, but we're broken up now lol. According to him, he considers himself straight, but I've joked with him before asking what he would do if I had penis and he just kinda a chuckled and laughed it off. I thought he was just trying to be politically correct at the time, but honestly...I think he would date (or at least have sex) with one.

The amount of racism is UNREAL, yet I bet these people are also shouting "black lives matter" from the rooftops just for the woke points. Just admit you don't consider black people to be humans, that's really all this is. This fixation on black women...Asian, non-white passing Latinas, and any other non-white woman will never live up to white beauty standards either, so they need to stop acting like this is a "white beauty standard" issue and not just a "we hate blacks" issue.

Every black person on earth has come from the vagina of a BLACK woman. How many transwomen can boast that feat? ZERO.

I actually got in a fight with my boyfriend over this. He brought up the JK Rowling situation and then started the typical TRA spiel about how "transwomen are women" and transwomen should be able to use women's bathrooms and violence against them is just astronomically high. It's just funny to me because the more I challenged him about those stances, the more he began to falter. We started with "transwomen are women" and when I asked how a biological man can become a woman, then it became "transwomen can become 99% woman" and then when I asked what makes a woman a woman...no clear answer. I got really offended because it seems to me he thinks a woman is just what somebody looks like. He even tried to say the issue with transwomen having free reign in women's bathroom was fear mongering and the same arguments have been used to discriminate against illegal immigrants. I had honestly never heard him say something so dumb in my life. I sent him a link to r/GenderCriticalGuys (RIP) and he discredited everything there because he deemed it an echo chamber. Yet he had no problem gulping up a 30 minute video by a transwoman (a man) talking about gender identity, and he sent it to me as if it had any relevance to the conversation we'd been having. I would bet money he didn't even read JK Rowling's essay.

Eventually, I think we just agreed to disagree because he couldn't tell me I was wrong he just said "I guess this is an issue that transwomen and women need to work out between themselves. I can't really offer a knowledgeable opinion as a cis male." It is absolutely hilarious how it seems all TRAs have the exact same weak arguments. But then again, how strong of an argument can you make if you can't even determine the difference between a man and a woman?

Oh, the VIOLENCE. I hope you were able to get your much-needed bed in the ICU with this whole pandemic thing going on because getting misgendered is not only emotionally traumatic, but PHYSICALLY traumatic as well. /s

In all seriousness though, I'm assuming you did #3. My friend's boyfriend used to have hair almost down to his tailbone and he wore it down a lot. He lost count of the number of times he was called ma'am if people only saw him from behind. He was so unbothered by it, he kept his hair long for years despite the recurring "violence."

[–]muomo 32 insightful - 1 fun32 insightful - 0 fun33 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I peaked when I watched a transwoman on Youtube's talk about the time he was dating a straight man who didn't know he was trans. Surprise, surprise, when the man found out he was a transwoman with a penis, he was no longer willing to sleep with him. Apparently the guy was super nice about it, politely declined, didn't call him any names, etc. but he's still a transphobe because he wouldn't sleep with a man who has a penis. That shocked me. I mean, MAYBE you could claim transphobe if you didn't still have a penis, but come on. You expect a straight man to want to have sex with somebody who has a dick? Even if the man was bisexual so having a penis wouldn't have necessarily been a deal-breaker, I think we can all agree that being into someone who "looks" like a woman but still has a penis is a specific "preference" (kink).

That just proved to me most of their concerns are about validation. Getting a straight man to sleep with you as a transwoman must be so validating. Almost as validating as getting a lesbian who is a woman herself, to believe you're a woman too so she'll sleep with you. There's a reason they word "trap" is a thing. They literally try to trick people into thinking they're something they're not. Why not be upfront about it from the start? Oh yeah, because then everyone knows you're trans and the validation goes out the window. It's selfish and deceptive.

Not wanting to date a man with a penis who claims to be a woman, or a woman with a vagina who claims to be a man is not prejudice. Ironically, this same logic doesn't apply to trans people, though. They can choose to only date "cis" women/men (a preference that many, many of them have) and that's not considered bigotry. This is trying to guilt people into having sex, plain and simple.

Straight men won't sleep with me!! When a straight guy says he is not into me, nor other trans women, I feel butthurt–emotionally and, unfortunately, not physically. by joeytundra in GenderCritical

[–]muomo 11 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 0 fun12 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

"Unfortunately" you're not physically hurt??? Why would you want to be hurt physically? Oh yeah, because then it'd be easier to call the man a hateful bigot rather just someone who doesn't want to sleep with you. Sounds like guy was perfectly nice about it, didn't even call them a man, but that still wasn't good enough. Nobody is obligated to sleep with anybody, and you're not owed an explanation on why that is. Funny how transwomen can't get over it when someone doesn't want to sleep with them...just like men.

God, those posts/comments got on my nerves and they all basically say the same thing. "I think you guys are important and valid, but it's an undeniable fact that this sub has been infiltrated by TERFs. It started off good, but now it's just a transphobic cesspool." Of course with no proof or quotes to prove that. Just another example of the TRAs' "I don't like what you said, therefore you are a TERF" nonsense, even if the person is/was trans themselves.

Yep. I saw some TRA respond to one of her tweets praising a child's drawing by saying "I wish you could be as kind and nice to trans people." You're not going to scare JK Rowling into agreeing with fake TRA rhetoric, get over it. I'm glad she hasn't bowed to the pressure. They are just angry because JK Rowling is completely solidified in her career, trying to 'cancel' her would do literally nothing. Instead of trying to intimidate JK Rowling into agreeing with them, TRAs should try to figure out what exactly they think they're fighting for because I don't think they even know.

Silencing your own because they don't promote your agenda. Despicable. Sure, ban r/GenderCritical and any other woman-run/feminist subreddits and claim it was because we were all hateful transphobes, some people will buy that (especially if they never visited them) but how the hell can you justify banning r/detrans for any other reason other than it doesn't support the "correct" TRA agenda? This is proof that the ban hammer is being used without any thought whatsoever.

Indoctrinate? Guess they don't realize that not everyone needs to be told what to think, some of us are capable of forming our own thoughts. I didn't even know what gender critical was or even what radical feminism really meant, but found out through the GC sub that I definitely wasn't alone in my thoughts and that I wasn't crazy. They really think that by banning us, it'll make what we say no longer true? Or like nobody else will ever realize the BS that TRAs spew makes absolutely no sense when you think about it even just a little bit?

r/GenderCritical may be gone, but guess what...transwomen are still not women.
