Change took down a petition to stop calling women "menstruators" so I don't have much faith in them anymore. They're fully aboard the transphobia-panic train.

I was only on TL (and reddit in general) about a month before all this ... happened, and I'm using the same username. I had only made 2 posts, one about being sober for 19 months (huge thanks to everyone who commented, I know I didn't get to reply to you all but much ❤) and one about a dumbass therapist I had (also thanks for all the great replies to that one, some made me actually laugh out loud!) I love this community and am so happy it survived.

I'm very early 30s, single, and prefer to work with animals rather than people. I also love to read, mostly nonfiction but I make the odd exception.
