I think it's important to consider that everyone who isn't born of "purebred" incest (that is, a line of repeated incest that goes extremely far back) is very likely to be a mutt. That is, basically, everyone is a mutt. The word is unimportant, but perhaps it was just used for shock value for blog clicks 6 years ago back in September 2015.

Most days, I'm pretty scared of this world. It wasn't always like this. I agree - reddit was truly a shining beacon of freedom of speech before 2010, really special stuff. I'm far out of touch with these strange meaningless opinion duels that seem to be erupting everywhere, and I'd rather just chill out and play games and read books and be peaceful (on my own if I have to, like today). I guess this world is just getting more and more twisted. I couldn't agree more, it's surreal and off-putting to whatever sanity I may have left in me (sometimes I don't feel it is much). I am truly worried of the ravages of gender dysphoria, I think it has world-ruining potential because of how internal emotions are quickly externalized, falsely attached to others (targets) and then these "inverse witch hunts" happen, like they're looking for someone to murder, as if that will solve their now deeply complicated internal nightmare that they have forced into the world. Frightening shit...

Amazing. I loved this. I've seen a lot of old episodes of Simpsons, but...never this. Cool stuff.

This is a really good and extremely relevant post for the modern day situation we are all facing. Thanks for sharing!!! I have only skimmed it so far, but it's seriously incredible.

I think that perhaps some cats could be defined as "cruel" and some not. To generalize and suddenly mentally group all cats as a single unit would be erroneous. Even trends set by "most" cats would have exceptions, and in those exceptions, something interesting always seems to exist.

Also, I enjoy this pic and have stared at it for like a minute. It's terribly obvious that love seems to exist between these creatures, at least in this captured moment.

Notice the face on Spike (the kid dragon on the right) there. He's discerning; perhaps even disgusted in this shot. You may just be judging a book by its cover, heh.

Season 1 and 2 were excellent, and if I were a father with a daughter (I am not), I would share this show with her to teach her life lessons about how to be a good human being. You are allowed your opinion, and hopefully I am still allowed mine.

I approve. This was a fascinating documentary to watch just a few years ago, and it seems to be the most poignant analysis on this topic that I've observed. Unfortunately it appears to be even more complicated, on some levels.

Unfortunately our ability to determine truth appears to be quite dysfunctional, and is prone to enormous (perhaps even predictable) swings due to bias and assumption.

I'm not sure, but I don't think he's technically with us here on Earth anymore. If anything, that guy's soul already made it to Heaven. We're still here though...and we're supposed to figure out what to do about that, I think. shrug

Probably a reaction to stress. Some folks deal with it in this way, it's a self-soothing mechanism. Now why he's stressed, I honestly cannot even imagine because my life is so completely and fundamentally different than his and he's seemingly stood for a lot of things I cannot comprehend (ID2020 and the like).

It all does appear ridiculously scripted though, doesn't it?

I suspect the closer we all get to the end, the more this will be the case. "The unreal" (and with it, the total breakdown of rational thought) appears to be ramping up quickly. Ah well, it was a good run, there are a lot of folks alive whom I care about and they hopefully all know that. You're absolutely right about doing the things we enjoy and spending time with loved ones. Life sure is easier to live when we're not hurting anyone - even if others decide to hurt us. There seems to be nothing on the planet quite like a clean conscience.

What's going on over at reddit? It's barely usable or enjoyable anymore. Generally, I agree. Now I just feel bored there most days. I'm looking for content with substance and it's harder and harder to find any there. I just want to learn about interesting things...hmph. It's very sad.
