Wikipedia presents mostly only one/a few views of things. Too many articles, especially political ones are locked for the general public to edit. It also has selectively enforced guidelines of how to edit when you first get the chance, and it's easy to find a reason to undo your edit.

Editing smaller pages in your native language for example, has a lesser chance of it being undone than a larger one in English, no matter the topic, but that is just personal experience.

Not to mention Tor and many commercial VPN providers' IP ranges are banned from editing in the first place.
