Context: The character mention is Bridget from the Guilty Gear series who, despite his feminine appearance, is a boy. He was recently added in a DLC for Guilty Gear: Strive. LGBT Twitter initially celebrated after leaked dialogue of Bridget’s Arcade Mode implied that Bridget identified as a girl which lead to LGBT Twitter to assume he’s a “trans girl.” In actuality, there’s multiple endings and the ending where Bridget “identifies as a girl” was the bad ending where another character successfully groomed him into doing so.

You were right in the first part. There’s been a recent Twitter trend of Troons claiming that Gwen Stacey from the Spider-Verse movies is “trans” and are trying to use the fact that her outfit has pastel colors on it as one of their “proofs.”

So basically, this is another example of troons wanting their head-canon to become actual canon.

Context: The character in question is Bridget from Guilty Gear (Blonde wearing the hoodie). Canonically, Bridget and his twin brother were born in a village where having male twins is considered taboo. Bridget was raised as a “girl” in order to survive. He then left the village and became a bounty hunter in order to defy the superstition.

Unfortunately, in the most recent Guilty Gear game, Guilty Gear Strive, Bridget was retconned as a “trans girl”, which means he’s now following the same path he wanted to defy (hence why the meme was made).

Despite the unfortunate implications, troons on Twitter and Reddit celebrated the news.

Context: Last year, Volition released Saints Row (2022), a reboot to their popular Open World crime simulator. Unfortunately they removed the charm that made their original games enjoyable and made a game wearing the skin-suit of a popular IP. For those wonder, in NHL 23, male and female players can play each other and their ratings are determined REGARDLESS OF SEX. This means Nurse isn’t 90/99 against only female players but male players as well. The problem I have is not the category itself. It’s the fact that it has very little promotion from F1 to the point where none of its races are going to be aired Live. It’s clear that F1 doesn’t actually care about it and is only doing it in order to look virtuous.

Also, racing is a gender-mixed sport and has been that way for OVER A CENTURY. There have been plenty of females that have completed with men and there are even examples of women having some success competing with men.
