This is starting to become a homophobic trope in and of itself. Both Faking It and Shameless had the exact same plotline of a gay man falling in love and having sex with a trans-identified female. In Shameless, the trans female went as far as to verbally harass the guy by calling him a f*ggot in the middle of a gay bar because he wasn't interested in her and SHE was the one who was portrayed in a positive light. Both shows have the gay male characters "overcoming" their "prejudices" (read: being gay) and embracing pussy.

Gay conversion is just so cool, you guys.

I didn't understand I was trans for so long because I didn't identify with images of traditional cis masculinity (was repulsed by it even). But it's because I was actually such a little homo lol

Such as being the first kid in elementary school to wear make up, having a huge stuffed teddy collection, being fascinated with Golden Hollywood and black and white films, had a slight lisp, loved homoerotic movies and stories, etc. etc

It's really funny how autohomoerotic women will often use their "attraction" (actually a fetish) towards gay men specifically as "proof" that they are real gay men. They are too absorbed in their paraphilia to realize that gay men are attracted to men in general; we only make a distinction in terms of sexual orientation when it comes to sex or romance. AGPs with a lesbian fetish will also do this, with their "teehee I am such a lesbian I've always loved lesbians/yuri" routine.

The only difference between tucutes and truscum is that the latter believe homosexuality can be overridden with enough plastic surgeries and synthetic hormones. Neither group ultimately believes in the existence of exclusive same-sex attraction; it's all just conditional. It's no surprise to see Buck/Susan advocating this, considering she went from self-hating lesbian victim of bullying to full-time sadomasochistic transsexual pornographer, going as far as to marry a professional dominatrix by the name of Ilsa Strix. Ilsa eventually left her for Larry Wachowski, at the time her next pet project. Trauma and untreated mental illness can wreak a person's life, and Susan is a textbook example of this.

In Duncan's world, heterosexual men who are attracted to tomboys don't exist, and attraction to feminine men would commonly be described as "Straight". Lol.

Truscum and tucute are no different from each other in the grand scheme of things. One side thinks that with enough dedication they can attain their "true selves" (in this case being a gay man), while the other thinks the same thing can be achieved with just a snap of the fingers. As others have said in the past, it's kind of like saying there's much difference between a more traditional sect and a more liberal one - both groups ultimately believe homosexuality is something they can identify their way into.

They fail to understand that secondary sex characteristics in non-transgender human beings are indicators of our primary sex characteristics. Up until very recently, significant facial hair or lack thereof was a clear sign that that person had male sex organs or female sex organs respectively. Sure, it might be a bit of a mindfudge to see someone like Buck Angel, who is part of the 0.01% of transgender-identified people who pass with clothes on, naked, but it's ultimately irrelevant in the grand scheme of human sexual attraction.

It's also interesting and awfully convenient the way truscum frame sexual attraction. To them, it's simply a matter of how well one can pass as the opposite sex (again, as long as the clothes are kept on), completely ignoring the fact that androgynous people exist. Remember the tweet about an androgynous-looking gay guy kissing an androgynous-looking lesbian by accident (https://i.imgur.com/bQD2o0D.png)? Alphabet soup activists went ballistic, demanding that he "explore" his orientation and be more "open minded" and he just laughed at them and told them the facts: they were just two homosexual people caught in a hilarious and embarrassing situation. Stuff like this angers them because it shows that just because you superficially resemble a person of the opposite sex doesn't mean you are actually a member of that sex. Just because you spent your life savings on a suit, expensive shoes and a Rolex doesn't mean you are a millionaire.

Bragging about getting dick, to a gay man of all people, is specially laughable. but those people often gender critical themselves and accepting their homosexuality.

From personal experience, the vast majority of "transbian"+"transbian" couples are men who (at least subconsciously) realize that no lesbian is going to fuck them, so instead they partner with each other to indulge their autogynephilia. Example: incel losers like protomagicalgirl.

For "transgay"+"transgay", it's a bit more complex. There is a portion of them (maybe the majority?) who are indeed autohomoerotic and will essentially do what I described above (settle for each other), but there are also many who are actually lesbians. There was a detransitioner lesbian on Youtube who basically said that calling yourself a "gay trans man" is, paradoxically, the only way lesbians are allowed to date other females exclusively with no repercussions and still remain in the good graces of the LGBTQIAI2S++. It's acceptable to say "I'm a trans guy and I only like dating other trans guys" instead of "I'm a female and I only like dating other females".

Many of the founding figures of radical feminism made their position quite clear in their writings: male homosexuality is a form of extreme hatred of women. Gynephilic men may be out there brutally torturing, raping and murdering women, but it is in gay men that one can apparrently find the most profound form of misogyny.

“The Christian tradition — based on male anxiety from the Hebrew tradition — takes the fear of the female to even greater extremes. During the Middle Ages celibacy (which is related to rear of the female) produced such strong anxieties that both self-castration and sodomy existed.”

- Leslie B. Tanner

“Men's liberationists always bring up ‘confronting their own feelings about men’ by which they mean homosexuality. Male homosexuality is an extension of the reactionary club (meaning both group and weapon). The growth of gay liberation carries contempt for women to the ultimate: total segregation. The desire of men to ‘explore their homosexuality’ really means encouraging the possibility of homosexuality as a reaction against feminist demands. This is the reason the movement for “gay rights” received much more support only after women's liberation became a mass movement.”

- Carol Hanisch

Interesting to note is that this cartoony characterization of gay men as these woman-hating monsters is shared by people from across the political spectrum: far-right groups will call us mentally-ill degenerates who should be "fixed" of our "aversion", woke leftists will call us transphobic bigots who should be "fixed" of our "aversion", second-wave feminists will call us misogynists who should be "fixed" of our "aversion", etc. The nicest of radfems will tell you that sure, homophobia exists, but it is merely an unintended consequence of women's oppression - a simple footnote. Who can forget that time radfem Meghan Murphy from Feminist Current descended from her ivory tower just days after Ireland legalized same-sex marriage to inform us mortals that no, she is not going to "celebrate" this event and that people should instead be fighting for women's rights (ignoring the effect this law has on lesbian women) and ultimately the total abolition of marriage. How about that time failed-actress-turned-activist libfem Rose McGowan claimed that not only are gay men misogynistic, we are in fact MORE misogynistic than men of other sexual orientations.

My advice is to judge a person's character based on who they are as individuals and not on their group affiliation.

Cis gay men are often hyper focused on cock so they don't see us as real men because their whole identity revolves around the genitals. Which is really baffling. I mean, I'm gay as well and I do love me some cock but I also love men, like, as a concept? I love their bodies and their smell, their body hair and voice... it doesn't matter what genitals they have.

First of all, lol at loving men "as a concept". Postmodernism has seriously obliterated their brains. And second, I love how they can never keep up with their political narrative. Is she saying that men have certain bodies, smells, voices and body hair distributions that distinguish them from women? Yikes, sounds hella transphobic and violent sweaty.

Just remember that you are not "reclaiming" the word homosexual; you are actually re-reclaiming it. Homosexual (and heterosexual for that matter) was coined by homosexual rights activist Karl-Maria Kertbeny in the 19th century. It is literally part of our history.

They are afraid of Kenneth Zucker's Watchful Waiting model, which proved to be a monumental success. He estimates that around 90% of his underage patients eventually desisted as long as they weren't pushed in any particular direction and given space to develop. The Canadian trans lobby freaked out, going as far as to commit perjury (they said he abused his patients) in order to close the clinic. They succeeded. Zucker was recently awarded $500,000 in damages after it came to light that the allegations were all a sham, but these new "anti-trans conversion therapy" laws means that the only legal way to handle children who show dysphoria is to put them on a path of puberty blockers, cross sex-hormones and surgery. We live in a fucked up world where the idea of a child becoming comfortable in his or her body is legally considered "conversion therapy".

They might not employ the nomenclature, but they are most definitely aware of what an opposite-sex attraction entails. This is the reason why gay conversion therapy now operates under the name of "Sexual Attraction Fluidity Exploration in Therapy" (SAFE T), which is, for all intents and purposes, a "Gay-to-Bisexual" conversion that utilizes queer theory talking points. The goal is no longer to get rid of a person's homosexuality, but to "achieve" what is essentially a bisexual orientation. Anything is better than exclusive same-sex attraction as far as these groups are concerned.

It really doesn't matter if they are part of the majority or the minority. What matters is that:

They are the ones voicing the homophobic vitriol

They are the ones voicing the misogynistic vitriol

They are the ones in control of trans (formerly gay) orgs and spaces, allowing them to advance their homophobic and misogynistic narrative

They are the ones who do all these things with zero repercussions (in fact they receive praise) from their community

So until the "silent majority of sane transsexual people" steps up and cleans house, then sorry, but people are going to associate the disgusting actions of your movement with you personally.

While tucutes claim that people are attracted to identities and that "you need to look past genitals", the truscum brand of gay conversion is more subtle. They will often say things like "yes, we understand you are attracted to dick/pussy, but what if the person is fully 'transitioned'?" or "'fully-transitioned' people should only come out if they feel like it". It is true that truscum set the bar higher, so to speak, but their rhetoric is still fucked up when it comes to gay people and consent.

If Buck is into dick she isn't/wasn't a lesbian

Again: is/was she really? This thread has made it pretty clear that performance in pornography is not always indicative of a person's sexual orientation. The people involved in the porn industry (specially as performers) overwhelmingly come from a background of abuse, addictive behavior and financial insecurity. Trying to rationalize their actions in front of the camera using a normal understanding of sexual behavior seems rather futile.

All we know is that Buck/Susan grew up as a lesbian, was bullied for being a gender non-conforming lesbian, told by multiple doctors that she was a lesbian, despised the idea of being a lesbian to the point of undergoing extreme body modifications, fell into a lifestyle of self-destructive behavior, married a woman, divorced that woman, married another woman and finally divorced her as well. Silly me for making the assumption that Buck/Susan might be... a lesbian.

I'll step out of this discussion now. Feels a tad odd to speculate about the sexual orientation of a woman who is almost six decades old lol.

So, there was a post there, just under a day ago, that was talking about how gay men are allowed to have preferences, and if they’re not attracted to trans men that’s not their fault. This, I largely agree with (unless said trans man appears physically male, has had all the surgeries etc. In that case I think there is an element of transphobia).

Classic truscum homophobic rhetoric: it's OK if gay people are not attracted to trans people, UNLESS- (long list of stupid hypothetical crap that won't make them male).

The conflation and appropriation of terms used by different sects of same-sex attracted people (stone for lesbians, tops for gay men) fucking sends me.

That was the part that stood out to me. It's perfectly normal for young gay men to slowly and clumsily learn the ropes by being introduced to lingo and "etiquette", but here we can see a characteristic mixture of complete ignorance and grandiose confidence that is so illustrative of the fact that these women are mere interlopers - charlatans whose masks will slip from time to time revealing the phony behind. Like someone who fakes an accent to pretend like they are from another place, only to inevitably commit a blunder that leaves them exposed.

The hot pink stripe was dropped because the dye was not readily available, yes. The turquoise stripe was dropped because, when hung vertically from the green lamp posts on Market Street SF, the (then) middle green stripe became obscured, so they settled for 6 stripes. *Another story says that the organizers of the parade wanted to split the flag into two to decorate both sides of the street, which would have been impossible with an odd number of stripes and so they had to remove one of the colors.

But yeah lol, it had nothing to do with "respectability politics", which is just another silly term made up by attention whores to complain about people who just want to live their lives without making a spectacle of themselves.

Truscum word their homophobia differently and in a seemingly "nicer" way, which is why it is often overlooked. While a tucute might say something like "I identify as a man/woman, therefore I am a man/woman and thus part of your dating pool!", truscum will focus on superficiality like hormones and surgeries, e.g. "Gay men date and have sex with transmen all the time, same with lesbians and transwomen! Take a look at these heavily-photoshopped pictures of post-op transgender people and tell me they are not desirable!" Polyamory is ultimately a lifestyle and sexual choice. Are there challenges associated with it? Sure, just like with many other lifestyle and sexual choices (furries, adult babies, etc). Should the law be amended to confer micro-rights to every single lifestyle choice on Earth? That's gonna be a legal minefield, particularly when you are dealing with multi-partner arrangements. In the hypothetical event that polyamorous people receive marriage rights, what happens if one partner falls ill and medical decisions need to be made? How can you determine custody arrangements in a polyamorous relationship with say, 10+ co-parents? In the event that one or multiple partners file for divorce, how should assets be split? Typically the law distinguishes between assets accrued before and after two parties are married, but what happens when at least one of the partners seeking a divorce was brought into the fold at a later time?

Not calling you a liar, but I'd like to see these cases of polyamorous people being fired, evicted and losing their children. The closest I can find in terms of employment is a case in Brisbane, Australia, where a female counselor was fired by her employers, the Catholic Church. Upon closer inspection, it turns out the woman was posting on polyamorous websites, advertising herself as a "poly-friendly" counselor working for the Catholic Church. Obviously she was immediately fired for violating their code of conduct, and a judge eventually ruled against her. I have nothing against polyamory and I feel that nobody, even if theoretically speaking, should be discriminated against based on what they choose to do with their lives (as long as it's within the boundaries of the law). On the other hand, surely you must see all the legal hurdles faced by polyamory that extend beyond simple arbitrary discrimination?

Because... it is? Gay/homosexual and straight/heterosexual don't just function as words that describe sexual orientation, which is why we have terms like "gay/homosexual sex" and "straight/heterosexual sex". [–]jiljol 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The core difference that separates transgender activism from every other civil rights struggle (racial justice, women's rights, gay rights, etc) is the fact that it is centered around compelled behavior. Every civil rights movement has positioned itself as a fight for basic accommodations and equal status under the law. Transgender activism goes way beyond this, clamoring for a complete and total upheaval of the way human beings perceive reality. This is perfectly illustrated by their demands to codify "misgendering" into the law.

Do women freak out and call the police/lawmakers/social media if they are "missexed"/"misgendered"? No, even though there are millions of women who pass as men.

Do black people freak out and call the police/lawmakers/social media if they are "misracialized"? No, even though there are millions of mixed people who pass as white.

Do gay people freak out and call the police/lawmakers/social media if they are "missexualorientationed"? No, even though there are millions of gay people who pass as straight.

Transgender activism is a struggle against perceptions. They want people to completely ignore what they are seeing with their very own eyes in favor of a collective delusion.

Yeah, lol, that's basically the gist of Moser's mediocre thesis. He took like, 20 women, asked them some weird decontextualized questions* that didn't even exist in Ray Blanchard's original questionnaire and then found that >90% of women experience autogynephilic tendencies (wh0a!). Autogynephiles creamed their oversized panties when that paper came out and they constantly refer to it when they try to deny their paraphilia.

*One of the questions he used was: "I have been erotically aroused by dressing in lingerie or sexy attire for a romantic evening or when hoping to meet a sex partner".

Like yeah dude, no shit somebody is gonna get turned on by the prospect of sex? Guess 99.9% of the fucking world is autogynephilic and autoandrophilic lmao.

Did he use Charles Moser's paper (where he supposedly "proves" that women experience autogynephilia too) to "debunk" it? Autogynephiles like Thomas/Julia Serano love to parrot that trash as gospel that autogynephiles don't exist.

Self-described autogynephile Anne E. Lawrence did a brilliant takedown of Moser's work in Something resembling autogynephilia in women: comment on Moser (2009). That work is paywalled, but here is a post by Miranda Yardley, another autogynephile, that mentions Lawrence's criticism:

I just ended a friendship over this. A gay man sending me (a gay man) an article saying that if I wasn’t willing to date trans men I was transphobic. He told me it was a preference not my sexuality. It’s not okay to tolerate homophobia in ANY form. by Ambisextrous in LGBDropTheT

From personal experience, they won't explicitly claim they have had sex with females. They usually start by saying something like "I-I've never dated one, but I swear I'm open to the idea!" (then proceed to go their entire lives sleeping with males). It's when you get graphic and tell them to "enjoy pussy I guess lol" that they go full nuclear because they can't deal with the cognitive dissonance, like the guy from the askgaybros thread.

Makes sense. This trans epidemic among young women mostly presents itself in severely maladjusted girls. They realize it's difficult for them to fit in with their peers. Instead of carving out a niche for themselves, they join this whole other subculture where they can be one of the "popular" girls, I mean guys lol.

This is the same Unicode Consortium where a single guy threw a fit and shot down the proposal to add more faces to the poop emoji because he thought it was too crass.

The fact that a handful of people have so much power over the tools that people use to communicate is so disturbing.

How do I tell my gay friend dating a transman that he is bisexual? by Smolders1 in LGBDropTheT

[–]jiljol 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It's not considered homophobic (nor biphobia), it's simply just someone who normally dates the same sex but finds opposite sex attraction happening at rare times.

Which is, wait for it: bisexuality. Preferring one sex over the other doesn't make you "homo-"anything. It just makes you bisexual.

They're the 1-5s on the Kinsey Scale

Kinsey 2-5 (I'll assume you made a typo) is literally where bisexuality falls. What are you even trying to say?

They have their own label

Oh, come the fuck on. Why are you pretending like this terminology is in widespread use? The only instances where you might find "homoflexible" and "heteroflexible" are fringe academic pieces or SJW articles from the 00s. This is not standard language by any measure.

And it's always the exact same people: the underwear model (who is really just a self-hating lesbian), Buck Angel (who is ironically very anti-modern TRA), etc lol.

I went into detail about this "gotcha" that they often use in another thread:

They love to parrot "BUT WHAT ABOUT THESE PEOPLE WHO CAN PASS!?". Well, we can actually use their hilarious logic against them. Let's do an exercise: Who in these photos is a "cis man", "trans man", "cis woman", etc?

It doesn't matter because sexual orientation goes beyond the superficial. We are attracted to biological sex. A woman with naturally "strong" features in baggy clothes is not a male. A woman who spends thousands of dollars surgically and hormonally modifying her body is not a male. The very idea of "passing" as the opposite sex is irrelevant.

That homophobic troll is a "gay trans man" (aka a heterosexual woman) in a relationship with a bisexual man. She brags about her boyfriend "topping" her anally (aka heterosexual intercourse) and hitting her "g-spot", despite the fact there's no proof of the existence of the g-spot and that more than likely it's simply an extension of the clitoris. She thinks this means it's just like having a prostate.

Snowflakes mad for calling a relationship between a man and a woman straight. Actual bi people don't seem to care by Mermer in LGBDropTheT

[–]jiljol 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

calling a relationship between a man and a woman "straight" is bi erasure

It is simply factual. It's important to understand that "straight" and "gay" can be used to define individuals and the dynamics that can arise between people: "gay man/sex/relationship", "lesbian woman/sex/relationship", "straight person/sex/relationship", etc. You could even talk of "bisexual sex" or "bisexual relationships" when 3 or more people of different sexes are romantically and sexually involved with each other. "Straight", like you have clearly illustrated in your second paragraph, is just a shorthand for "opposite-sex".
