I commented on a picture on /r/pics of a "hot" actress. I said, "How is this interesting? There are 2,000,000 subs devoted to hot girls."

I got severely attacked. People digging through my post history and everything. Wtf?

The creepy thing to me is the thousands and thousands of selfies posted. Like ok...take 1 every so often, but it just starts to get odd.

I go on celebrity pages and they have nothing but pictures of themselves. They cannot even post a scenic shot on vacation or something?

Two things to note:

1) Family were big proponents of eugenics. His brother specifically.

2) Part of the royal society and very wealthy.

Unlike Orwell who seemed to have a political past that influenced him, Huxley had money and connections.

I think that is true for George Orwell.

For Aldous Huxley, it seemed to be more of a map for the future. His family was very wealthy, supported eugenics, and more!

What others said and I 100% believe it was infiltrated. As reddit is the liberal hivemind, Voat became the opposite...and I am very conservative.

But it became all about racism and hate, and I think that made it so Voat could never get too popular or as popular as Reddit.

Basically it was amazing! Then one day, the owner made a huge decision in regards of where to host the platform. The next day, it was another world.

You know how Reddit is a liberal hivemind? Well it became the opposite.
