Good thing you're done here. Much appreciated. Continue to be done. All of your points here are incredibly stupid, as usual. To pick one point: your comparison of recent fascist knuckle draggers with pre-WWII individuals who were interested in fascism is absolutely ridiculous and shows how pathetic, idiotic and misinformed you are. Recent fascism, and to some extant, post-war fascism differs significantly from pre-WWII fascism. Don't bother to respond to me again.

You're really boring, but here's a detailed answer to your idiotic comment.

The greatest philosopher of the 20th century was an unapologetic fascist.

Absolutely not, by any standard among 20th century philosophers. Look it up.

So was the greatest political theorist.

Also not true, at all. Look up political theorists.

Not to mention several brilliant poets and writers.

Who were fascists, but also really smart? No.

The idea that fascists are knuckle-draggers is a leftist myth.

More idiocy. A reference to knuckle-dragging fascists is not necessarily a reference to all fascists (though it could be a reference to 99.99% of all fascists). Did you take a logic class in high school? If not, look up venn diagrams.

It's a form of coping.

This far right obsession with the word 'cope', to apply it to anything they don't like, is merely another way of saying that everyone should cope with idiots on the far right. Bullshit. Fascists give themselves too much importance. They should be ridiculed for the weak, triggered snowflakes they are.

What's disgusting about pointing out what certain groups of people are good at?

Really? You're that stupid? You commented on "niggers" noting that they are "useful for" running, surviving malaria (millions died of it in the past decade), and not getting skin cancer. They're not useful for this.

This is your issue, you react based on a script you've internalised without actually stopping and thinking about anything.

Bullshit. You can be funny without being a bigoted slimeball. You don't have to support racial hatred (like these other assholes do). I've not over-reacted; I'm merely letting you know that I've noticed it and was somewhat surprised. You're often quick to correct me. Don't bother me if you can't handle the responses. (And if I remember correctly, you've dated a non-white person, and if that's true, your jokes are somewhat hypocritical.)

I've reacted much the same way to people asking "what good are white people?" on here and I didn't see you complain then.

Self-deprecating humour is normal, especially where you are. Joking about 'what niggers are useful for' is weak.

Just because you forget your terrible behaviour doesn't mean everyone else is a liar. It means you probably have sone kind of personality disorder. I've said multiple times that I think you have multiple people using your login because your behaviour is so erratic. Swearing and threats one day then trying to talk to be like nothing happened the next. Now I think it's probably just incompetent abusive behaviour.

More bullshit. You lied. End of story. Doesn't matter who or what I am.

And, no, trying to convince yourself that you are a good person by supporting a political side like it's a football team rather than actually being a good person to your fellow humans is not strength. It's weakness.

See my comment above.

Yes, you could argue that that "daughters of God" should not have been reported as "children of God" because Pope Francis suggested a different meaning for the former. I would agree that news media should use the actual translations. Snopes in this case could rate the comment as "mostly correct" because it's not entirely correct to make that inference. Snopes inference-checked the statement, rather than fact-checked it. I doubt this is very important, but would agree that this is not literally "fact-checking" by Snopes, or that the "attribution" is entirely "correct". The attribution in this case is mostly correct. Indeed, for those who complain about half-truths in political discourse, there is a potentially informative argument against Snopes here for claiming that something that was not entirely true was however deemed correct. This isn't the best example, but I see your point.

It's a fascist practice back to the 30s and an authoritarian propaganda back to the ancient Greeks to attack the fact checkers, reporters, and the highly educated, in order to promote false narratives by frauds. It's the one way in which frauds trick people, /u/jet199, and Saiditors are dumb enough to fall for it. Try this: pick one Snopes article and debunk it. NO ONE who critiques Snopes is doing that. Instead we only see unfounded claims on Saidit, such as, "they play little linguistic games to obscure the facts." It's as if Snopes (and you note wikipedia) is somehow part of an evil conspiracy to trick everyone with their fact checking. Well, if they are, give an example. It seems that no one ever does that on Saidit. You mention a wikipedia article without linking to it, regarding the tallest mountain in a region, arguing that a region can include different regions and different mountain height records. A region name does indeed often include different region names and geological features. Seems that part of your argument is a "linguistic game." Why bother? What's the actual problem with fact checkers? They annoy frauds? Good.

egalitarian fanatics

Good to meet you, Ethnocrat. Great to know that there is an expert on Saidit who can explain this. How many academic peers are there for academic journal articles in the US? How many or what percentage of those peers are in the US? How many or what percentage of those US peer reviewers of all academic journals in the US are egalitarian fanatics? Where can one find this list or survey of the egalitarian fanatic portion of the US resident peer reviewers of all US-based academic journals? When an egalitarian fanatic peer reviewer examines an essay on its own merits - cold fusion for example - how does this fanatic include an egalitarian argument in the review about a cold fusion essay? Help with any of these questions would be much appreciated.

Ngo - one of the worst scumbags - is editor of The Postmillenial. Here's a better source:

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/andy-ngo-wins-300k-from-defendants-who-ignored-lawsuit-over-portland-protest-beating/ar-AA1fALzW

The judge is a racist scumbag (a Laotian who finds in favor of a Vietnamese asshole with a ridiculous case).

Sinlapasai accepted the lawsuit’s claims as facts, as none of the trio ever denied the allegations and a prior judge had ruled all three defendants had lost the trial by default. She awarded the entire amount requested by Ngo’s attorney, Dorothy Yamamoto.

An attorney for Schott-Deputy made a last-ditch bid to avert defeat by default, but Sinlapasai rejected the effort, saying it was too late to respond to the 3-year-old lawsuit.

Schott-Deputy had entered the courtroom briefly during the first trial, but was ejected because the gallery was open only to news media.

This isn't worth $300k, or $30:

Schott-Deputy was “one of the first to strike” Ngo as he live-streamed a protest in downtown Portland on May 29, 2019, while Allen hit Ngo over the head with a sign and Belyea tossed a milkshake on him, according to the lawsuit.

His earlier lawsuits have failed or were settled out of court.

Chanpone Sinlapasai - who was appointed last December - should be disbarred.

We cannot assume it's accurate if it's not reliable.

The main problem is that it's being used by many online as an accurate source, whereas we know for a fact that it has NOT shown the appropriate evidence of the sources of the statistics. There is no way of knowing if it is accurate, unless one were to conduct a similar study, at great expense. It's obvious that the essay is not reliable.

Thanks for this, Musky (updoot).

I've read the report because I wanted to know of this author's sources. The essay doesn't include references next to the statistics. It would fail as an undergraduate essay because footnotes are essential, especially for this kind of study of statistics, as an author supposedly with a B.S. and a J.M. would know very well. Omitting the sources for those statistics is intentional if the author actually has those degrees.

You can find the essay at Research Gate:

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/315367933_Ninety_Two_Percent_Examining_the_Birth_Trends_Family_Structure_Economic_Standing_Paternal_Relationships_and_Emotional_Stability_of_Biracial_Children_with_African_American_Fathers

And when you look for where it was published: https://www.ssrn.com/index.cfm/en/

This is a non-academic self-publishing source that re-publishes anything without peer review. There is a mix of all kinds of articles here, many of which seem to be academic, but are not. For example there is a batch of Anti-Vax misinformation papers (also lacking appropriate references). Many of those are identified as "working papers," which are not published in peer-reviewed resources, though may have been proposed to peer-reviewed journals. The purpose of that website: "SSRN is devoted to the rapid worldwide dissemination of research and is composed of a number of specialized research networks."

EDIT SSRN removed it from their database (hence it was harder for you to find): https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=2625893

And who is this Tiffany Calloway? I can't find her.

Regarding black children born out of wedlock, if I may change the topic slightly, one can search for that statistic and find that 72 percent black childen are born out of wedlock, which of course is shocking. Search: black childen born out of wedlock

TL/DR:

Calloway (if that's a real person) provides no sources for her statistics, has used unethical research methods, writing a hoax perpetrated for monetary gain.

What's really worrying is that numerous people want to use that false claim as a way of arguing that 9 out of 10 black men abandon their mixed-race children (per the conclusion in her article).

The facts are still quite concerning: "In 2011, 72% of black babies were born to unmarried mothers, while the 2018 National Vital Statistics Report provides a figure of 69.4 percent for this condition."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African-American_family_structure

None of this makes sense. There is no evidence for your claims, for the reasons I have noted in detail. I also told you of the evidence of Hunter's indictment, though that's not related in the least to Trump's charges. You can look that up. Your responses are baseless claims, which you repeat over and over again. Please do not respond to me again.

I spent 20 or 30 minutes kindly responding to each of your baseless claims in order, only to get this unhinged, idiotic response regarding word count and with more baseless nonsense. It's as if you've not bothered to read any of the responses, none of which defends anyone. Trump refused to hand over the documents, for over a year. Look it up. Look up all of this. Leave me alone. Ask users elsewhere who have the patience to respond to you. You're repeating the same lies without backing up any of your claims with reliable evidence or arguments. And you still have absolutely nothing to argue about any of the 91 criminal charges against Trump. You don't need me to teach you internet search skills. Look it up.

Biden was found with classified documents in his home, something Democrats consider a crime when Trump has documents.

Politicians are regularly asked to return classified documents. Biden did, immediately. (He's been in politics for decades and in the past few decades there was not the same diligence for sorting one's papers.) Trump refused to return his documents and he shared them openly with people without security clearance. THAT's the crime. Your support of Trump's illegal actiities by comparing him to a law-abiding politician is really misguided.

Biden is trying to get Trump put in jail.

No - again you have NO evidence of that. Biden does NOT order the federal lawyers and judges to act. That would be illegal, of course, and there is absolutely no trace of such activity. Stop lying, or find that evidence (which does NOT exist). Your support of Trump's illegal actiities by repeating obvious lies that the corpse of Biden is masterminding a project of numerous federal lawyers prosecuting him is a form of treason against US democracy. Moreover, those are actual crimes, which are almost unheard of in presidential politics.

The FBI colluded with big tech to suppress the Hunter laptop story ahead of the election, this was election interference.

This is another lie. Hunter's property was always private and no one should have had the right to share that private information. It is a legal obligation in the US to try to protect the privacy of its citizens. Hunter was prosecuted, in relation to the contents that were stolen from him, and faced 3 very minor charges (2 tax misdemeanors and one gun possession charge). The public does not have the moral right to view his private materials.

Hunter Biden smoked crack and fucked whores with the bribes he earned from the bullshit company he was on the board of, what a glamorous look the the white house.

He's not been charged with bribery or any of this. It's not been legally proven that he accepted bribes. His actions were not deemed to be illegal. This is also entirely unrelated to the 91 charges against Trump. It's an obvious attempt to support Trump's ACTUAL crimes, which is your way of supporting political corruption.

The Bidens are accused of bribery and corruption with the dealings with Ukraine and China. What a coincidence that immediately after getting presidential power they send money back to Ukraine.

Again - there is NO evidence that any money that changed hands resulted in US policy decisions. Hence - this is NOT bribery. The money is unrelated to politics, as it was part of a business transaction that is NOT linked to politics. Look it up. This is an obvious attempt to support Trump's ACTUAL crimes, which is your way of supporting political corruption.

For every crime Trump is accused of, Biden can be accused of the same or worse.

Absolutely false. There are numerous crimes by Trump and his family (on the behalf of the family) that one can see evidence of online. We've known this for YEARS. 91 criminal charges basically scratches the surface. There was a website - corrupt.af - that listed on a daily basis 10s of thousands of references to corruption allegations. The BILLIONS of dollars taken by the Trump family in those years should be addressed. You want to compare all of that to 2 fucking tax misdemeanors and a gun possession charge? Again, this is an obvious attempt to support Trump's ACTUAL crimes, which is your way of supporting political corruption.

Let me take a quote from Roseanne that fits you: "All you're doing is admitting your brainwashed and ill informed".

This is another obvious strategy by brainwashed far right nutjobs to defend themselves, by calling normal people brainwashed, without any evidence of that brainwashing. Indeed, far right scum like Roseanne Barr know exactly what they're doing when spreading lies and claiming that anyone not believing in those lies is somehow brainwashed. Indeed you've not provided any reasonable evidence for your claims in this thread and you've avoided entirely the facts of the 91 criminal charges. Here's how to spot the brainwashed person: see if he or she can provide the appropriate arguments or vidence for their claims. Regarding the 91 criminal charges that you and others want to claim are 'retarded' (whatever that means), you've got NOTHING in response to those. Lawyers who discovered those charges have followed a legal investigative process that is of course unrelated to brainwashing.

Zom I'd be surprised if you've taken A-levels in the UK. I've seen in the past 2 years that you seem to avoid anything that is complex or deep. You seem to prefer simplified narratives. Perhaps I am wrong, but this attempt of yours to dismiss 91 criminal charges as 'retarded' is of course ridiculous, by any standard. It's like you're trolling me, if you actually understand any of this. Please don't respond to me in the future with these baseless claims. Please look up the information before responding.

I'm also not a raging leftist. I'm much worse: a centrist. There aren't that many raging leftists in the US. Most voters will admit that they are centrist. And compared to other far right-leaning social media places (Parler, Truth Social, communities.win &c) Saidit is somewhat more centrist than those.

Anyhow, I don't like rape, of any kind, so this might have influenced my responses. Apologies.

Indeed. She's explained in the shortest possible manner the many deranged disinformation talking points by the far right, while also showing her and their massive egos and minimal qualities. She's always been trash, and wrong, but this comment, by her or by some staff member, is remarkably concise. Socks' subreddit where multiple people were communicating about how to avoid Saidit's cloudflare bans for logging in too many times

That may or may not have been one of the discussions - I don't know and don't recall, nor is it important - but it was not on a subreddit of mine. I didn't moderate a subreddit at that time, nor would there be a subreddit devoted to that issue of temporary cloudflare bans.

The comment that easily gets a username banned is: the opinion that Tucker Carlson should be slowly tortured to death

My original username was banned for that reason. Now I use any username that comes to mind. I suppose it's time to retire the current username.

Think about this for a second, Jet. You want to make a general argument about all of my comments by remembering a comment I made TWO YEARS AGO?? Seriously? I wonder when was your last normal relationship with a human. This is nuts. (A lot can happen in 2 years.)

Also, your other comments are helpful, because I didn't know that you had this much irrational hatred for me, and I don't know why. Duly noted.

Anyway, let's look at the "morally bankrupt" argument? Do you realize that I am one of only 2 or 3 users who argue AGAINST the genocide of Ukrainians, AGAINST laws that limit women's rights, AGAINST political corruption, AGAINST spreading COVID, etc, etc. If I agreed with users who promote Christo-fascist, authorian, genocidal disinformation for the far right, like the others here, THAT would be morally bankrupt. Also keep in mind that it's perfectly normal for fascists at Saidit NOT to like non-fascists, and to want to limit the free speech, voting rights, human rights, reproductive rights, educational rights, etc. etc. of the non-fascists. If Saiditors agreed with me, I'd certainly be morally bankrupt. I've explained this many times in the past 2.5 years. It's good to be different on this website. I've also explained which right wing issues I agree with and which left wing issues I agree with, and how I am more of a centrist, but I am not explaining that again.

Now let's look at that 2-year-old comment you've NOT FORGOTTEN:

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun - 2 years ago

No need to try so hard to be a racist cunt

Yep - I think that was me. Now consider your reading comprehension: I noted that you "need not TRY so hard to be a racist cunt." What that means is that you were trying to be a racist cunt, rather than denote that you were indeed a racist cunt. It's about a photoshopped image spread by racist cunts in social media 2 years ago. Though I did not explicitly say so at the time, I can clarify that everyone sharing that photoshopped image was indeed a racist cunt. For example the top comment to your post was:

sproketboy 3 insightful - 2 fun - 2 years ago

Barren whore.

I suspect you voted on that. Racist cunt news media in the UK at that time claimed that she was never pregnant, and you and other racist Saiditors supported that attack on Meghan. Why? Can you think of 2 words that would describe the people who wanted to share that photoshopped disinformation? I certainly can.

This is obviously wrong and certainly unfair.

For example, my latest experiment: https://saidit.net/s/politics/comments/bbxt/91_criminal_charges

Saidit's anti-corruption yelping over the years came to an abrupt conceptual end with that post. (No Saiditor in that thread - other than I - wants Trump's corruption to be addressed AND no Saiditor was able to propose an argument against one of those 91 charges. It was one of the most obvious slam dunks in Saidit's history, proving that many Saiditors support political corruption, they parrot the talking points of far right disinformation news media, and they are hypocrites when they've complained about the lack of attention to political corruption in the past. Those 91 charges barely scratch the surface of numerous examples of the Trump crime family's corruption, and yet why would anyone on Saidit want to support him by calling those 91 charges erroneous? What's very good about this is that the far right social media could elevate Trump to GOP presidential candidate nomination - much to the chagrin of many in the GOP - and it's already well-known that he'd lose against the corpse of Biden. The main problem is that Trump's supporters have caused a social rift in the US that is dividing Americans. Very sad.)

That's not one of the charges. It's a quote from Trump, of part of the evidence (NOTE your sources when you post a quote).

You seems to be interested in the Georgia state charges.

I'll help you understand them. Which of these 4 are 'retarded' and why?:

Violating Georgia's racketeering act: The indictment alleges that Mr Trump, "while associated with an enterprise, unlawfully conspired" through a pattern of fraudulent activity to change the outcome of the election. This falls under the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (Rico) Act, which has been used to bring down mafia bosses like John Gotti

Solicitation of violation of oath by public officer: Mr Trump is facing three counts on this charge, including one related to a January 2021 phone call between Mr Trump and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, during which prosecutors allege Mr Trump asked Mr Raffensperger to "unlawfully" alter or adjust the the certified returns for presidential electors

Conspiracy to impersonate a public officer: The indictment alleges Mr Trump unlawfully conspired to influence certain individuals to falsely act as elected officials "with intent to mislead"

Conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree: The charge alleges that Mr Trump intended to defraud the public by conspiring to make a false document titled "CERTIFICATE OF THE VOTES OF THE 2020 ELECTORS FROM GEORGIA", a document which would have made Mr Trump appear to be the winning candidate in Georgia

False statements and writings and filing false documents: The purpose of the false statements, of which there are several listed, was to persuade Georgia legislators to "reject lawful" votes cast by duly elected officials, the indictment alleges

Bullshit. This is a political opinion ("leaders" section) that should not have been allowed to be in the Economist. The author leaves out this downward trend in inflation:

https://www.statista.com/statistics/273418/unadjusted-monthly-inflation-rate-in-the-us/

And the author leaves out the obvious fact of economic growth for the 99% results in a bit of inflation (growth in jobs and higher wages = inflation, growing economy &c). This is a political hit piece because there are no potential criticisms from partisan hacks for the improvement in the economy after Trump; none. If the job numbers were low, we'd hear about that 24/7 from the political hacks. Instead the focus here is on the momentary several-month rise in inflation due to job growth. In BOTH categories (job grown and inflation) the US has done better for the 99% AFTER Trump left office. Moreover, the US president is NOT the mastermind of economic development. Someone should write a letter to the editor of the Economist about their very bad decision to allow this misleading trash in the magazine.
