Sorry - if I am insulted, I return the insult. I've discovered over 2 years on Saidit that users will tend to forget that they insulted me first and are shocked that I insulted them thereafter.

I'm also not a raging leftist. I'm much worse: a centrist. There aren't that many raging leftists in the US. Most voters will admit that they are centrist. And compared to other far right-leaning social media places (Parler, Truth Social, communities.win &c) Saidit is somewhat more centrist than those.

Indeed. She's explained in the shortest possible manner the many deranged disinformation talking points by the far right, while also showing her and their massive egos and minimal qualities. She's always been trash, and wrong, but this comment, by her or by some staff member, is remarkably concise. It was one of the most obvious slam dunks in Saidit's history, proving that many Saiditors support political corruption, they parrot the talking points of far right disinformation news media, and they are hypocrites when they've complained about the lack of attention to political corruption in the past. Those 91 charges barely scratch the surface of numerous examples of the Trump crime family's corruption, and yet why would anyone on Saidit want to support him by calling those 91 charges erroneous? What's very good about this is that the far right social media could elevate Trump to GOP presidential candidate nomination - much to the chagrin of many in the GOP - and it's already well-known that he'd lose against the corpse of Biden. Bullshit. This is a political opinion ("leaders" section) that should not have been allowed to be in the Economist. The author leaves out this downward trend in inflation:

If the job numbers were low, we'd hear about that 24/7 from the political hacks. Instead the focus here is on the momentary several-month rise in inflation due to job growth. In BOTH categories (job grown and inflation) the US has done better for the 99% AFTER Trump left office. Moreover, the US president is NOT the mastermind of economic development. Someone should write a letter to the editor of the Economist about their very bad decision to allow this misleading trash in the magazine.
