Bill to Protect Female Sports Introduced in Senate by [deleted] in GenderCritical

I don’t think GC feminism is enough of a force right now to swing the election, but I do appreciate this bill from an otherwise disgusting senator.

although I would instinctively want to I would not

Yeah, my feminism is about not dressing, smiling, dumbing down for men, not about squashing my altruistic urges for the principle of gender separatism. Full personhood to me means being able to be nice to anyone I want to without having to be a chump/slut/doormat for it.

/r/Books is pissed off that historical female authors who were forced to publish under male pen-names are having their work republished under their real names, because apparently it's evil to assume they weren't trans by marmorsymphata in GenderCritical

The historical ignorance in that thread—maybe they were eXpReSsInG themselves by presenting as men!! lots of women were published romance authors which means no sexism ever!—is the past tense of their willful ignorance of sexism now.

I’d guess they’re more prone to transhumanism generally than, say, landscapers or camp counselors who have regular contact with people and the outside world.

Why Emma is incapable of seeing the women’s rights issues at play given her station and education is beyond me.

Maybe it’s her status that blinds her. She probably doesn’t have to worry about sharing changing rooms, scholarships, a prison cell, or other women’s resources with TiMs, so it’s easier for her to think they’re lovable and harmless.

Anybody else encountered TRAs and their allies claiming no one sees anyone naked in a locker room? by NDG in GenderCritical

[–]feministunderyrbed 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Women and girls in women’s locker rooms aren’t looking at other women and we’re really fucking not videoing in there the way TiM fetishists think we should, but it’s impossible not to see naked bodies there. Young girls shouldn’t be seeing dicks in there and dicks really should not be seeing the young girls.

Open Letter Endorsing Free Speech Sparks Civil War Over Trans Issues at Liberal Website 'Vox' by [deleted] in GenderCritical

He lost me when he criticized black people who objected to Tom Cotton’s op-ed in the New York Times, which was disgusting. I have no more time for people on the right equating trans bullshit with anti-racism than for TRAs appropriating Black Lives Matter. We cannot make common cause with racists.

That said, I am encouraged by the “left-wing” signers of this letter and all the objections to it from TRAs. It makes me think that the indulgence of trans delusions has reached a high-water mark and they will soon be the ones to find themselves politically homeless.

The one reason we all can't speak our minds is cancel culture. Cancel culture was created by so-called progressive democrats. I've only ever voted Democrat in my life, but I just can't support that anymore. Don't downvote till you've read please. by 100_percent_truth in GenderCritical

I’m not counting on Biden for much beyond not being Trump, but that is enough. I believe he will protect the right to abortion and do a significant amount to unfuck our economy and education system, among other things. No politician or party is reliably gender critical, and that sucks, but getting rid of Trump matters more than anything else politically right now.

See, I would make a point of not stealing a quote from Sam Harris on anything having to do with women.

It’s fine to argue against Islam if you want as some monolith of oppression (although Christianity and secular liberalism haven’t exactly been great for women either) but too often it turns into bashing Muslims, meaning people who were born under Islam and follow that religion as a default, who have been killed in massive numbers by Western powers over the past twenty years. There is a strain of feminism among Muslim women that focuses on the veil as resistance against liberal porn culture. I’m not going to spend energy bashing that.

No US party or politician supports GC ideas. The right is just as genderist as a lot of the left. And there are lots and lots of reasons besides feminism to get rid of Trump, starting with the fact that if we don’t we may have seen our last (fair-ish) presidential election ever.

So no, I don’t believe in an anti-Trump conspiracy by Reddit. They are porn-addled misogynists, that’s all.

Don't Support Reddit. by limegreen in GenderCritical

You know, I wasn’t going to leave Reddit. I’ve been there for ten years and made many different alts for different interests, now mostly abandoned. I’ve used it to keep in touch with my local community, my profession, and my hobbies. I was fully aware of the prevailing misogyny but I thought I could hide in my little niches of sanity and ignore the larger reality. I wasn’t even that active on my feminist account and I felt unwelcome at times as an older, straight, non-gaming woman. But now that the GC subs have been taken down while the foulest porn subs stay up it just lays bare how hostile the whole site is to my personhood. Behind every meme or animal pic I see a porn-addled womanhater and it’s just not funny anymore. Reddit’s site structure is addictive and I’ve struggled at times to stay off it, but it doesn’t feel tempting anymore.

So thanks, TRAs, for killing my Reddit addiction. Hope you drown in your own spooge.
