Are police overly aggressive? Yes. They shouldn't be getting training from a country with some of the worst human rights violations in the world. I also want to see them de-militarized. No reason to be playing seal-team-6 for the cops.

But if you attack a police officer or point a weapon at them, they have a right to use deadly force. I don't want to live in a community or town where the police are completely ineffective, like the UK.
