What is Religion. Lesson 05: The Observers by f946811700ae in TraditionalMuslims

This marks the last fully technical lesson from this series.

To recap, and some notes:

  • All fact is truth, but not all truth is fact.
  • What is truth under one context is not necessarily truth under another. Truth, as defined in the lessons, is not universal.
  • We can pick and choose context, but not truth. Although truth is not universal, you can not pick and choose it. This is because truth is derived, not stated. As for the premises, although they are not themselves truth, they still imply themselves and that implied is truth. In other words, if X then X. The first X is a premise, and the second X is truth. (Another demonstration that no two things are the same. See lesson 3.)
  • We have free choice. We do not have free will. What will is up to the Creator.
  • Although we have free choice, we are not bound by determinism, we are not creators because it would be a contradiction, because there are no partial Creators. We are bound by the Creator's will. (For those who ask questions about predestination and free 'will')
  • Very roughly speaking, in terms of attributes, think of a thing as the set of all attributes that exactly point out the thing. The attributes themselves are things. I can point them out. If all the attributes are within the boundary, the thing is realizable. If at least one attribute is within the boundary, it is part of the not realizable. If non of the attributes are within the boundary, whatever I say next would be a contradiction because I managed to point it out.
  • Given the common usage, the universe is part of the world, and not the whole world, as world is defined in the lessons. The universe would be the truth under the context of fact. It is also what has become, the being. (Be careful with the english word, 'world', because some times after I wrote these lessons, I realized that my derivation of its meaning per the old language, is very likely wrong. It seems to indeed more correctly mean العالمين. However, follow the meaning as defined in these lessons.)
  • Feeling: The spirit can choose, but it does not mean that it has free choice. It depends on whether it is given options. Animals are spirits. This can be verified by observing that they can choose. However, they are very limited in their options. Reflect, as spirits, why do we feel? We do not feel our blood moving around our body, but we do feel hungry. Whenever the Creator gives the spirit options, meaning free choice, he puts feelings instead to program it. The word for this comes from the root F T R in the old language. Feelings are to the spirit, what software is to hardware. Feelings are a persuasion. If they were not, then the Creator did not give the spirit an option, a contradiction. A man's heart pumps and yet he has no input over it, but if it gets troubled, he feels pain because he is given option over his limbs. After that, he might choose to try and save him self, or he might choose not to. However, he is not given option over the very pumping of the heart, and hence, there is no feeling.
