/r/EDanonymous was a good re-homing, but my heart hurts for how terrified the community was while switching. I used to have an ED, and it was amazing to have a place full of people who understood me and who could help me be safer in my endeavors. And eventually I did choose recovery, but I might've died with that community.

Never heard of her. A quick google shows she's a trans women who doesn't identify with being a woman, not really sure what that means. And she's very anti-puberty blockers. I'm actually a minor who started cross-sex hormones at 16, so I guess she'd hate me.

Interesting. I fundamentally disagree with her. Trans women are women in my eyes; trans men are men. I've spent a long time debating this with so-called gender critical people on reddit, who she may identify with. Who knows. Interesting to see differing opinion, though.

I mean, trans women are usually (this is a very general statement) not so happy with their male genitalia either. They wouldn't typically be exposing themselves in public - if so, I'd assume that they'd have some other type of issue, if you know what you mean. As a trans male, I would NEVER openly change in a public space due to my dysphoria and not wanting to make other guys feel uncomfortable.

I agree that we need to get along, and I agree that a little girl shouldn't have to see a penis. I don't think very many people are arguing that.
