Yeah I don't think you understood what I meant. I don't care that gay men don't like female bodies, it's the act of bodyshaming women and calling our bodies disgusting out loud when no one has asked you your opinions on our bodies in the first place that I don't think is fair.

I'm straight but I'll try to answer some of your question. I think that the straight women who fetishize gay men seem to not see them as individuals who simply like dudes. But as a group of inferior, weaker, sensitive, feminine men which they sometimes develop an attraction to. Personally I find that icky on the part of straight women, as long as gay men don't criticize my body or call it disgusting just for being female I think we should be friends and just enjoy our mutual love of dick. ;)

The first part assumes you're speaking about people comfortable within themselves and level headed. Judging by some of the gender ideologues on twitter... yeah I'd say some don't understand the concrete reality of homosexuality. I think movies portraying only the GBF trope are also to blame.

They wouldn't, the point is that if there's a dude in the washroom with me I used to be allowed to alert someone, be against it and have my privacy. Now if any dude wants to walk in and be a perv, I can't say anything because that dude can just shout transphobe. Same goes for changing rooms, these guys used to be flashers and unwelcome but now I'm not allowed to consent to wether I see a Willy or not. Sorry if that hurts but not everyone is ok with that, some people want safe spaces away from cocks and the males attached to them. Namely sexual assault survivors, and religious women, and other women who just aren't comfortable with that. Now if TRAs are insistent on going into spaces with members of the opposite sex, why not just stop having sex segregated bathrooms all together? Also what's the obsession with discrimination in the dating world? literally everyone gets discriminated against in some shape or form (too fat,too old,too brown, too ginger, tiny cock, not into straights).

I can never understand that argument, if you seperate gender and sex, gender is = the stereotypical role of a woman/man. So women wearing makeup and men dressing in a very masculine way, a lesbian is attracted to females, the female form, soft features on a face, womanly curves etc.., If margot robbie started calling herself a trans man but didn't change anything about her body apart from wearing masculine clothes the same people would still be attracted to her. Back to my lesbian example, how can you think that by having a dude wear a dress and makeup that lesbians will be attracted to him? if they were attracted to someone with those features they would be dating men in general.. how can they be so **insert bad word here* ? I like men personally, I'm attracted to their physique, when I see trans men or if I was confronted (hypothetically) with someone who passes but then saw a vag or a fenis my brain would still register them as female. How are they this deluded? and how do they not see that they're repeating the same homophobia that was perpetrated before? are the teens just doing this because they grew up when it was accepted even not shocking ? I believe around 2008?

that's true, I can't think of a single word that's not gendered. They added iel/they on their profile, which sounds like a bad mashup of il (masc) and elle(fem). Just like someone not wanting to be called he or she anymore, though it's even funnier because there's no equivalent for the singular use of they(it can be used in the singular form right?). What we have is ils/elles = they, nous= we, vous = you. The closest perhaps is vous, but it sounds stupid because vous is what you use with strangers, when you're not that familiar with someone (so you have to keep using the formal vous, til they give you permission to use the informal tu) or someone older that you need to respect like a teacher, or your in laws. It's a form of respect really.

hope I can interject, there might be some truth to what you're saying but as a straight woman in a relationship, my so has always described himself as having a strong aversion to physical contact with men + no interest, which I understand since I have no interest in women and the idea of being physical with one feels like an aversion/revulsion. Which I assume is the same for people that are same-sex attracted?

"I can also somewhat penetrate someone, we just need to be creative. There are also penis extenders and prosthetics for trans men to use that have one of the mini fleshlite like things built in so that I can get pleasure while pleasuring someone." LOLZ this person is a virgin and has no idea how sex works or how pleasure from penetration works. There's a reason why no one likes a micropenis, you think a clit can do better?

i guess? but when everyone's sexuality has to be inclusive (ref. transmen in gay magazine as sexiest man uk) why has none of the AGPs commented on the fact that clearly they aren't seen as porn worthy "lesbians"? I can't wrap my head around the cognitive dissonance.

No you have the right to feel the way you do and It's the same thing, the only caveat is that FTMs don't seem as violent as MTFs. MTFs only threaten women that speak up against them but not men, that's really the only difference (that male violence element).

Um most straight men get really turned on by lesbians/the idea of two women together, hence why they often ask for a threesome 2 girls+ them, and/or watch a lot of lesbian porn. This seems like a dude who might be deluded enough to want to take this IRL, someone with no concept of boundaries.

Yeah it's kinda weird, the idea of free speech (links back to the revolution) clashes often with what we're evolving not to say, so I often find that a hyper pc society like Canada often thinks we're ism, phobic, etc. I obviously can't speak from lived experience, but I think most big cities would be ok, I just know Paris has a pretty developped LGBT scene. As for the gender ideologie - it's having a hard time picking up here in comparison for a myriad of reasons - in part because I feel like here you can have a nuanced debate, hold a different opinion and speak your mind more, also the protection of children is taken super seriously. Whereas in other places I find that there's a "you're either on the right side of the political spectrum/debate or your against us/the enemy". (I'd be surprised to see the general public pressuring you to date someone of the opposite sex, you're gay and here we know that's stupid).

I'm not sure what the punishment was or if he got compensation. Having lived in Ireland, I really feel like anglophone countries go too much in the way of political correctness (use of black emojis being racist, not using the word woman, advocating for LGBs to date the opposite sex by pressuring them..) whereas a place like France will not coddle you (don't even think about safe spaces like in america lol), homosexuality took way longer to be accepted for the most part then in anglophone countries, and I could go on.

Yeah in France they're trying it right now, not much with the gender crap though. Recently a cop beat up a journalist (white on white), and there was talk about a law prohibiting people from filming cops brutalizing people to various degrees. Pretty sure that got shut down since people were not having it.

in regards to the history of France and homosexuality: - 1791 - sodomy decriminalized in the criminal code, but it remains a basically perceived as vulgar act which could lead to criminal problems/complications - some back and forth. Gays are on Nazi hit lists, 1940 re- criminalized by the regime de Vichy - lots of persecution before '82 - august 4 1982 - homosexuality isn't illegal anymore for 15+ -2001 = first gay adoption - 2007 = more back and forth on adoption+marriage, remade it illegal to marry in 2007 2013= gay marriage is legal.

As for what it's like being gay in France, I think it really depends on where you are in the country, from what I know LeMarais in Paris is one of the most accepting areas, Paris would be the best city in general. I observed a gay friend of mine with his boyfriend once and I noticed he didn't hold his hand/showed him very little PDA - some homophobic attacks, street harrassement still happens. The macho mentality is still prevalent, but I believe it's still a taboo mostly because we have a large older population and prevalent conservatism. People can't discriminate based on homosexuality in the work place or anything like that. I'm sure you'll find a fair amount of cunts that fit all the stereotypes, but I'd say most people are pretty welcoming, what makes us look rude is the fact that small talk, and being fake is less popular then in Anglosphere. It really is frank/brutal/harsh honesty, ex: auditioning for a role = anglo- we'll call you, that was great, french = yeah not gonna work out. English-speakers like to be really polite ha. As for being gay in Ireland compared to france? from my short stay it might be better? judging by the general vibe and mentality I saw there. Now being gay in France isn't like being gay in russia, hungary etc. BUT the taboo is still palpable.

Nah lol being LGB isn't right wing just yet (though there might be some LGB people who are here - just like lgb conservatives exist in the states). But LeFigaro being a right wing (not far right thank god LePen camp is crazy), is only going to reach a niche older generation already set in its ways. It's just not the media outlet that would make younger people open to a nuanced debate on this.

lol the one time France talks about this and it's Le Figaro.. of course. How about we focus on stopping the spread of it here, before it gets as crazy as north america and the uk, spain?

Edit: Huge problems to deal with here already, plus if they wanted to help this community they could focus on improving acceptance of LGB people in our society, which is not as banal as in anglophone countries.

Shang wasn't bi.. at least not in that story. Saying he was into her when he thought she was a dude could support the idea the TQ have that people are attracted to gender and people presenting as m/f. People are attracted to specific sexual characteristics that belong to one sex or both, not how they dress as.
