Let me piece my comments into two seperate areas:

  1. I've got to say, I'm quite disappointed in this site as a whole. I know it's just like Reddit in format, but the content as a whole is atrocious. I'm saddened that /r/watchpeopledie has been deemed as inappropriate as other subs that actively encourage violence towards government officials / police as well those that indulge in completely ludicrious conspiracies with no evidence or factual basis behind them.

  2. I do appreciate having a place for discussion revolving around content of this matter, so thank you for existing. I don't want to have to go to liveleak or bestgore and be surrounded by racists and complete lunatics instead of people who have actually interesting and informative things to say.

Bruh, this is america. My best friend was almost killed at the Clackamas Town center shooting in Oregon. Shit is absolutely fucked, but everyone keeps arguing instead of trying to actually influence any change. Like, even policies that could POTENTIALLY limit the number of these incidents are not put into place despite the fact that we live in a democratic society and we could repeal these laws if they were ineffective.

I don't have a link to the full manifesto. Just what was shared by publications. I believe there is a link in the comments that may contain it. I'm too drunk to find the article I read earlier which had quotes from the manifesto.

According to the shooters manifesto, it seems like some fuckhead inspired by the Christchurch shooter in NZ and states "This attack is a response to the Hispanic invasion of Texas."
