Lesbian is not an umbrella term!

"Womxn" is trending on Twitter because Twitch used the phrase "Womxn's History Month" to "include trans and nonbinary women." Both trans and non trans people hate it. by OPPRESSED_REPTILIAN in LGBDropTheT

Latinx is only used by 3% of the total Latino population, mostly Latinos who were born and raised in English speaking countries and do not speak Spanish. As a Hispanic person, it enrages me hearing non-Latinos refer to us with an X. Also, didn't they invent the X to make things "gender inclusive?"

Why is intersex included in the LGBTWTF+? by QueenOfTheNorth in LGBDropTheT

First I’m so sorry this movement uses people like you as a pawn for their self-righteous ideology. I knew a trans woman who claimed to be born intersex because her mother used some strong drugs to alter her pregnancy and make her fetus a girl. I knew then that that was not possible in the slightest. That trans woman justified her transition by calling herself intersex instead of being born and raised male. She was also not a great person to be around, ie getting aggressive after calling her out on her racist language.

I'm a minority in the people of color umbrella. Trust me that they do go after us. I've read countless tweets from them on how racist they truly are - especially binding their trans "struggles" with that of black or Asian women.

Why AOC Exaggerated Her Trauma From the Capitol Riot? - YouTube by christnmusicreleases in funny

AOC is an embarrassment. I’m Latina in the Bronx. She represents the 14th congressional district which comprises the Bronx and Queens. If you look up the 14th congressional district, it lists upper middle class neighborhoods in the Bronx. AOC peddles that she represents the Bronx, but she does not represent the poorer neighborhoods. Almost all the Bronx neighborhoods she represents are mostly white and wealthier with average incomes in the six figures.

The asterisk is actually a wildcard adopted by the trans community in the early 2000s (at least I saw several friends use them to self-identify as trans) to signify all members of the trans community and their identities. Essentially it's an "inclusive" marker to not only trans individuals, but the non-binary spectrum. The issue is that, apparently, the asterisk wildcard is actually "transphobic" today. https://transstudent.org/issues/asterisk/ and https://lgbtqexperiment.com/2019/02/18/is-there-a-difference-between-trans-and-trans-is-trans-offensive/

Why don't they just date each other? If they're so hung up on lesbians wanting to date them, and they consider themselves women and lesbians. I knew a transbian who wouldn't date other transbians. They are hypocritical: real lesbians are "transphobic," but transbians aren't transphobic for not wanting to date other transbians.

If you're an ethnic minority Conservative, you just can't win. The idea that you are not “really” black if you have certain views, and that departing from those views makes you a ‘traitor’, is straight up racism that harks back to the Victorian era. by Chipit in politics

I’m not conservative by any stretch, but I am a center-left Latina. Even saying that causes contention among the “Latinx” crowd. Many Latinos don’t support the term “Latinx” and it irritates me when hearing it. The term only serves to make non-Latinos feel a useless solidarity among us.

According to “Latinx” fools, Latinos are an oppressed minority, unless they are “white” or “white-passing.” Example: an Argentinian can’t face oppression because they’re “white,” but has a thick Spanish accent and can barely speak English in the US, versus an indigenous Mexican. I’m Latina. I know we are diverse people. For “Latinx” people, you’re not Latino unless you fit their agenda.

I don’t understand why they think suddenly worshipping Tegan and Sara makes one take the lesbian card? They probably weren’t fans, or even heard of them, until they became “lesbians.”

I cannot fathom why they threaten with statements like, "To claim otherwise is ahistorical." This person is not a valid source, possibly spreading misinformation, and no one can question it. It feels dismissive and authoritarian. As though no one is allowed to open a healthy debate.

I find that transbians will take anything stereotypically lesbian and appropriate off of it. Case here, being super-huge-mega fans of Tegan and Sara. I liked them, I know other bisexual and lesbian women who do too. We are/were fans just like with any other musician. It’s this extra excitement that makes transbians’ fanship likening to worship for “lez credit.”

Fun fact: Zoe Quinn, a girl who ruined Alec Holowka life to the point of him commiting s*icide came out as nonbinary in 2017. Really fascinating what kind of people come out as trans, huh? by [deleted] in LGBDropTheT

Why does non-binary mean you have purple or blue hair? Why do they all wear their hair those colors? In my teens, this made you "punk."

I used to work as an usher for a performance space in Times Square. They played for 2 nights, and on one of them I begged my manager to allow me backstage to meet them. He finally permitted me, and when I went back to meet them, they looked at me bewildered and refused to talk to me.

I met Tegan and Sara. They were the rudest musicians I’ve met. Stopped being a fan after that. Also, I met an trans lesbian who absolutely adored them, but seemed to want to take ok lesbian stereotypes to be “validated.”

I went through r/lgbt, a subreddit I never subscribed to and visited, and I feel absolutely awful for this community. I was a teen in the early 00s when my classmates would hurl the word "gay" as a pejorative. I was 100% with gay rights as I saw it was just a group of people who wanted basic human decency. Now the whole trans madness has devolved your community into a freakshow. These people don't represent you.

Blaire has several video on why transgender children, and pushing trans ideology on them, is a terrible idea. I only watch Blaire's videos on these topics as there are no other sensible trans people on YT.
