This is frightening, if true; any foreign country (including Russia) could turn the US upside-down in a matter of moments.

Call me paranoid, but I will not partake in genetic testing if I can avoid it. Any corporation holding the genetic information of many people can lead to blackmail if the test results fall into the wrong hands.

NewPipe is the only way I watch YouTube; an added plus is that it does not require Google Play Services. (My phone uses a custom ROM where I choose to not use Google Play)

F-Droid has many other useful open-source apps in addition to NewPipe. Check it out!

I'm seeing OpenRC mentioned as a systemd alternative here. Does anyone have experience with using OpenRC on a regular basis? I'm interested in replacing systemd if OpenRC is easy to configure.

I'm glad you got it fixed. The ability to chroot into a failing distro is invaluable.
