These temperature fluctuations also throw off weather patterns like el Nino and la Nina which then throw off the whole planet's weather and water systems.

The issue is not exactly that the global average temperature is changing - it's the speed at which it is changing that is causing all the chaos. Deniers will often tout, "oh but the planet has always had temperature changes!" But those changes in the AVERAGE temperature are supposed to happen gradually across millenia, not in the space of 100 years like they have due to human-driven greenhouse gasses. When the temperature changes this rapidly, delicate insect and plant species aren't able to evolve and adapt around it. So they just die. And then because of the food chain, the animals that rely on those species also die.

I think it's a very important question. The short answer is that 95% of the rebels aren't officially Jihadists, but instead part of a general international effort to end the Assad dynasty and Ba'athist Syria. That did happen, though by a small margin of popular vote for the Repubs, which I think had a lot to do with misinformation in swing states, and we have no idea who owns Dominion voting machines. Still the final result is marginal. More significant is that a massive number c. 18 million of undecided and Dems decided not to support Harris, wheras that group supported Biden 4 years ago (Trump also had slightly fewer votes than before). The DNC and every Democrat-leaning voter needs to try to understand that.

I hope Republicans do a lot of what they want in the 1st two years, hopefully to anger enough voters who would vote for Dems in the midterms. Sadly, what might happen is mainly the clown show politics, until midterms, and the massive changes are thereafter, when Repubs have nothing to lose (ie. massive tax cuts for their wealthy mates (as promised), serious deregulation (as promised), closing Dept of education (as promosed), cuts to Social Security & healthcare & EPA (as promised), along with the more serious aspects of project 2025. In the meantime the immigration laws will take center stage, but that's in my view a distraction.

With just a few hundred extra votes (700+ by some estimates) in each of the swing states, helped by the Dominion company that is owned by dark money, one type of establishment won by that very slim majority over another type of establishment. I think Cenk is pandering in this case. What's good about this election is that now all of the 99% will see that they will suffer the same fate under a corrupt Republican pay-to-play establishment. Had Harris won, the division created by Republicans would have continued to trick much of te US that the massive improvements of the Democrats in the past 4 years were somehow bad because inflation is at 2% (albeit the lowest in a long time). Deregulation, tax cuts for the wealthy (that won't "trickle down", ever), and the destruction of government departments, Social Security, healthcare, education, EPA, FDA &c will be the result of Republican ESTABLISHMENT greed. The main evidence against the Russian Propaganda is that for all that time, since 2014, the easternmost oblasts, Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv have been laid waste. Russians didn't protect anyone. They've raped, kidnapped, murdered, bombed, slashed and burned through the eastern territories. It's a wasteland. What was the problem before 2014? 600 so-called Nazis in the Ukraine military?
