Nope. Not trolling. It's more than possible (even likely in many cases) that a girl's stepfather be more of a father to her than her biological one, what does genetic relation make any difference?

I also disagree with some of the fundamental assumptions that this line of reasoning clearly has, but I don't want to upset the saidit "pedo police". They'll say I'm "sexualizing children" by giving me full, real opinions, which is (now as of a couple days ago where they edited a rule just to target a friend of mine) verboten.

The US is already a Socialist nation, but most don’t understand this. That’s why the further destruction of the country must be overseen by a fake capitalist like Trump. Then Socialism will appear to be a viable alternative, even though we already have it! by Jesus in conspiracy

If you think this is socialism, I'd hate to see your reaction to real socialism, or even just more socialized, but still ultimately capitalist countries like the Nordic ones.

I think the comment entry box could maybe go for some padding, so the first character typed isn't bumping right up against the rounded corner.

Nope. My ideas on sexual morality are very different to those of my parents. My mom, at least, has pretty conventional views, and my dad really wasn't part of my life growing up. Nice try trying to play the "cycle of abuse" card, though. I get that one a lot. Sad to say that I've never really had any sexual experiences as a child or otherwise. Now, I'm sure you're gonna go for the "pathetic naive virgin" route.

It's very obvious that we feel quite differently about this issue. I'd love to actually debate it in full, but I'm pretty sure the admins have decided in advance that me arguing my actual, honest position breaks their new rule on "sexualizing children."

Keeping their future on track is something I would consider necessary. What's not necessary and should absolutly be avoided is arbitrary restrictions that don't exist to ensure the child has a good future, or to keep them safe.

Masturbation is not harmful, I don't care how young the person in question is. Things become safer when they're condoned and educated-about.

My view on kinkiness and the internet is that the internet mostly makes it easier for people to discover their kinks, and those who already know about them realize they don't have to settle for "vanilla sex."

Whether something is taboo has nothing to do with whether they are actually immoral. Things that are immoral cause harm to animals (human and otherwise). If something doesn't fit that bill, it can't be considered immoral.

That's why I also made sure to argue that what was being advised was not immoral.

I doubt that what you're saying is true.

I'm unsure where I made any real claims that could be considered "wrong." I was mostly just stating my own opinions. If you're talking about 12-year-olds commonly masturbating, then I can assure you that's true. I was 12 relatively recently (about 8 years ago), and that's when I started. I've always had the impression that that was pretty common, at least for my generation.

CPS would almost certainly consider exposure to porn a form of sexual abuse.

Maybe, maybe not, it's hardly news that the government has stupid views on sex.

As a father he has exactly as much right as the mother to dictate what their daughter should be able to view on the internet. How much that right is is really up for interpretation.

If "accidentally" finding porn is really a concern, then the parents could do the actual buying part themselves. However, I have no reason to believe that porn is harmful to children, at least not in any other sense than that it might give them false expectations. These just need to be tempered.

Chances are that if she wants a vibrator, she's already well-versed in porn, at least the type she currently enjoys, being a gen-z-er is likely is written or illustrated form, which is a lot easier to see as fictional, and not build expectations for sex around it anyway.

Kids that age masturbate ll the time. I sure did. I always just used my right hand, which was good enough for me, being a guy, but I don't see how using better tools could somehow make it bad or harmful. Also, "he" (post is fake) went on Reddit, and asked the question. If he didn't think his parental "authority" would be challenged, than he obviously had no idea how the internet works.

I'm firmly of the option that the freedoms of children should only be limited when absolutely necessary, which I don't think it is at all here. I think it's just the BS "sex s for adults" mentality at work, that makes him see his daughter as somehow a non-sexual being, which is just silly.

x-comment from other post about this thread Explain to me what's so bad about buying kids sex toys. They're gonna masturbate anyways, why not make sure they do it with products designed or it? I'm a guy, and not really into butt play, so I always did fine with just my right hand, but not everyone's in that position. Penetration is really best done with objects designed for it (or both safety and pleasure) rather than with random household objects which is what kids would end up using if they didn't have access to sex toys.

addition: A lot of kids, especially boys start masturbating around that time. How is it worse if the parents know, and "enable" it. Is this really any different that a mother leaving out hand lotion and tissues that she know exactly what her son is gonna use for? The only difference is the lack of the retarded secrecy and pretending about sex. It's really a good difference.

Turns out the post was fake anyway, but that's beside the point. (Pretending it was real,) they asked a question on Reddit, and people gave their honest opinions. That's exactly how it's supposed to work. Also, in the scenario given, one of the parents was already willing to do it, and the other was being a dick about it. See my comment here for more of my thoughts.

I think you got yourself a bit confused. I created r/zoophilia and was always the only mod. Yes, that other user is a friend of mine, but that's irrelevant. I'm also pro-pedophilia, and was really looking forward to having some rational debate about it here. I was gonna create a sub called sexual-morality, or something for frank discussion of zoophilia, pedophilia, and other such issues, but if I wouldn't be allowed to share my actual opinions (because that'd be 'promoting pedophilia,' I guess I can't do that.

Yes, I'm aware that s/pedophilia wasn't going to be for that kind of discussion, neither is s/zoophilia, that's why I was gonna create another sub for the big issues themselves. The specific subs (at least s/zoophilia) were always going to be to discuss specific issues to do with the paraphilia(s). In much the same way a conservative sub wouldn't really be the place to discuss which political "side" is right, and that might be more the place of a "politics" sub. That was my plan, at least.

I can't speak for [the other user], but he seems to have pretty similar ideas to me.

Lol at literally changing the rules in order to silence opinions you don't like. How pathetic. What ever happened to the pyramid of debate? If you're specifically barred from taking a certain side in an issue, no true debate can happen at all.

Why does one have to be kind to animals to be considered a zoophile? by Ontario56 in Zoophilia

Well, I guess I'm not sticking strictly to the modern definition. This sub is for people who both love animals and are sexually attracted to them.

[–]catlover1019 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

My take on it goes back to the meaning of the suffix "philia" it wasn't originally sexual attraction, but rather 'love', and not specifically the erotic sort. Also, there is a subtle difference between being sexually attracted to someone and being turned on by the thought of inflicting pain upon them. That doesn't actually require sexual attraction.

Also, I have no respect for anyone who would actually hurt an animal. Fantasizing about it is one thing, because one really can't help what makes them horny, but actually doing it is another.

Quite the opposite. I'm claiming that if one does hurt animals that it would be appropriate the call them not really a zoophile. I apologize for my late reply.

I mean, there's actually a relatively mainstream (as in you can buy it in physical form on Amazon) novel about that. It's called Wet Goddess. I'm not sure if that's the same individual/couple as what you saw, but it's definitely a similar example. I think it's more about the emotional rather than physical aspect, but there was definitely a physical aspect. I haven't read it because I'm a faggot and vagina scares me :P

I should note that the novel is fictional, but it's based on true (zoophilic) events. The author is a zoophile activist, and claims he did have sex with a dolphin.

Np. I mean, I know I'm attracted to (non-human) animals and very interested in doing sexy/loving things with them, but I haven't really done anything yet.

I'm also free to chat if you want, about zoophilia, or anything else. Hit me up on the PMs here, and we could either talk there, or find another place that works for both of us.

That's not an issue. We would still value your input to any discussion, just remember that this sub is not the appropriate place to debate the morality of zoophilia itself. Anyway, welcome to the sub.

I think it was more than 30% that were not worthy of deletion. Honestly, the whole category of "promoting pedophilia" was pretty stupid. Some of them were clearly jokes, and some of them were just questioning the dogmatic opposition to fictional "underage" pornography. Also, questioning ideologies is not bigotry. Islam really does suck as an ideology, as does Christianity, but currently Islam is causing more problems.

Personally, I think science is on the side of transgender people actually being... y'know... transgender, but even a lot of that stuff was either just jokes or maybe a bit was honest questioning. Some of it was just needlessly mean, though.
