The problem is we often see things with modern secular eyes instead of biblical eyes. Yes, having your husband spank you is controversial because it's not specifically mentioned in the bible. However, we're supposed to submit to him and discipline is something that the bible makes very clear that all of us need. So when I do something wrong I don't have a problem submitting to his authority and it's honestly a lot easier just to take the spanking. We get off easy on this one but husbands are obligated to punish themselves and self-punishment can go on for days, weeks or even years.

That's your right. There are no rules in my sub that demand absolute agreement.

The only thing I will say is that I'm careful to not be imposing our Christian marital standards on others. So it's equally wise that people that disagree with those standards not try to impose their precepts on people like my husband and I.

Look, Ayn Rand was a deeply flawed woman. If simply for her belief in the righteousness of murdering the pre-born that I would never be able to see her as a role model. Such information is in the same category of historical information as recording the size of a man's penis or a woman's breasts. IE: There's not a good reason to mention such information unless it played a serious role in how historical events unfolded.

Now if Hoover was indeed a fetishist and the decisions he made were because of his fetishes then we should record that. However, if there's no evidence to that effect then we should ignore it.

I don't understand this entire "coming out" mularky.

Here's my reasoning why I think coming out is hogwash,

I'm married and I don't discuss my sex life with anyone. Plus, when people come over to our home no one even sees our bedroom. In fact, because my husband is almost 30 years older than I am the majority of people don't even think we're married.

Same thing with homosexuals,

No one would know that they're gay if they just stopped flaunting it in everyone's face. When a gay couple goes for a walk together there will be people that are going to think the worst and be disgusted but 97% of the people won't care at all. Sure enough that I believe homosexuality is a sin and talks to me about it then I'll state my beliefs. However, I'm not going to break down someone's bedroom door to stop them from doing whatever it is that they're doing. All I'm saying is keep what's private PRIVATE.
