"trenches of internet warfare"
nicely put - would love to see a map of that battleground once. on that map we would see that the saiddit pocket is beeing overrun by deserters from a different frontline. we would also note a slight influx of righties, testing the waters here.

Twitter Censors Rose McGowan Over Clinton Image (18:12) ~ The Jimmy Dore Show by JasonCarswell in censorship
blatant miss use of the word censoring. sounds just more catchy tho. a private firm can do whatever it pleases. feelin hurt by the suppression of (insert agenda point X)? dont use that service. if u still feel the urge to point that out in public spaces like this fine forum - i wonder whats on ur agenda. dont bother to answer this.

Google makes YouTube for Android more user-friendly in a fresh update by techlikeme2 in technology
that just spells more trouble for new-pipe i guess.
pasta: NewPipe does not use any Google framework libraries, or the YouTube API. It only parses the website in order to gain the information it needs. Therefore this app can be used on devices without Google Services installed. Also, you don't need a YouTube account to use NewPipe, and it's FLOSS.

coming late to the party:
im now able to "mute" obnoxious users and im sure it will get used a lot. what happens to the blockee - thats the blocked user here - does he get a notification like "x user blocked you" or something along that line? most folks today easily shrug off disciplinary measures like "ban/kick/timeouts". the "im banned at place XX" evolved into a badge of honor of dubious origin.
does the blockee see something related that button? Does his browser-window shake a bit at his next login?

i beg to differ. the attacks happen, putting up a banner that said something along the line "currently under fire from geo region X" doesn't give more attention to them. you just point out an obvious fact. furthermore it looks like saidit can fend of the brunt of it, the countermeasures are working. so you're ahead of that game keep doing that.

glad someone else noticed it. its the slow "voatification" of that place here. almost unstoppable. How to keep'em at bay u ask? no idea - make fun of'em perhaps? Ridicule is a strong weapon if wielded correctly. the bigest mistake in my book is: just ignore it and carry on. Point'em out - make fun and then move on w your business.
