I don't participate in Lent, however I have been trying to cut back on my drinking. When I had to take antibiotics for 10 days that prevented me from having any alcohol at all, I realized how dependent I was on drinking. Cutting down to drinking on the weekends for now. Best of luck with your Lent plans!

I see what you mean but I think we should try to avoid calling women "manly" based upon their appearance. Emma Portner looks like a woman because she is a woman. I feel like sometimes we fall into the same gender stereotypes that fuels TRAs. I know this is a nitpicky comment so take it with a grain of salt but I feel like I see the GC community make comments like this when it feels like it goes against what we stand for. (Abolishing gender and the stereotypes that come with it.)

It's disgusting but there's a part that's so so sad. That these men are so mentally ill, or obsessed with their fetish, that they cut their penis open and willingly created a rotten wound in their body that they will never be able to reverse. Makes me feel iill on so many levels. Why is this never talked about? I remember a TIM on Reddit that was having these problems and it caused them to be suicidal. He said no one warned him about the negative side effects... Jfc. Medical malpractice.

24 y/o, GNC lesbian here. I feel the same way. I've tried very hard to understand TRA talking points and sympathize with the trans community and I largely do - I think adults with sex dysphoria should be able to medically transition and live in peace. But transing kids? "Women" with beards in the bathroom with me? Girldick?? (Barf.) Wearing a button down shirt and calling it euphoria? Celebration of surgeries to remove healthy body parts and organs with any discussion of the adverse health affects labeled transphobia? It's gone too far and become like some sort of bad SNL skit. (I actually recall there being an SNL skit about a male lesbian who had not transitioned or anything.)

I hear you about feeling alone in our age group. Glad I have this community to go to when I see something that peaks me again for the 1000th time. Solidarity, sister.
