oh COME ON. It's clear as day to anyone that cares to look that TIMs don't share an ounce of similarity with women when it comes to female sexuality. I never fucking see them in fandom or any theme of them gravitating to female-oriented pornspaces. They're on pornsites or sharing hentai images amongst themselves on 4chan. That's not even mentioning the VERY different physicality when it comes to sex. We're never going to end up with an accurate picture of female sexuality with them there stinking up the place with their male gaze.

Yeah, it pisses me off too. Tbh though, I think the research is inaccurate, I think men are more attracted to performances of femininity/masculinity, traditional beauty standards and displays of submissive/dominance. Which is so ingrained in our culture that it gets mistaken for sex.

Edit; basically, men have already constructed society around their preferences.

I got banned from twox yesterday for saying "if gender is socially constructed and anyone can self-identify, and everything is valid, what's the point in having spaces at all?". Nice to hear I'm not alone with this craziness. Gender more like a book club to them.

I dislike that phrase too but I sadly think that's why a lot of men want to become women. To "perform" these sexist stereotypes and continue to conflate womanhood with it.

I've noticed. Ngl though, it sort of hurts being called a bigot. I've always prided myself on being empathetic and humanist. But things have to make sense to me... I try to just ignore the issue altogether but when it gets brought up online I just get an itch to question it or get answers.
