One bike mechanic guy said he got run off a subreddit for disagreeing with other posters about something when he worked in the industry for years.

Overmoderation needs to be a thing of the past. Mods actually need to be punished for banning people for disagreeing with them, fighting with other users or punishing people for social criticism. I don't support racial supremacy of any kind. However, if you want to call people out for bad behavior, I think that should be allowed as long as you can provide some sort of evidence. I think suppressing it, or worse, as we've seen with African-Americans that is becoming a serious problem, siding with them every time something happens is just a bad road to take. Minorities are NOT always right! There are some dumb liberals out there trying to push that and I draw the line at that!

But back to my point, yeah, unless you are disrupting a board by spamming it or being an idiot, you should not be banned. Period. I've actually done some moderating. It's really not hard. Coworker of mine wrote a help wanted ad a year later and, absolute brown noser type, and her job requirements were basically asking for someone who worked at a fine-dining restaurant in NYC, it was hilarious. We all read the requirements and just had a grand time laughing.

I actually work in a field where sometimes I have to cover for people who are like skilled/certified in the job. Sometimes, I keep telling my boss, I'm not qualified to do that, you know that right? They don't care. They even ask why I don't go to school and get certified. I'm just like, "Nah." I don't think I'm good at it and for various reasons you probably wouldn't understand, If I did get certified, I'd get a terrible assignment and get run out anyways, so what is the point?

That's why I play the lottery, couple bucks a day, well worth the investment to get out of the rat race.

The flaws of socialism aren't taught in school. I had to learn it from a handbook made for GM factory workers that I found in my basement left by the house's previous owners. I work in schools. There was a girl from Yemen who came to live here. She wore a hijab the first year. Ditched it the second year.

Pretty much is the same in Detroit too. You don't really see that many hijabs now. The culture Americanizes itself here by itself.

I've been to the UK; their police force needs to carry guns and they need a few months of training from the NYPD, Detroit PD or LAPD. Their cops can't control the population and they take advantage.

Racism there is much more blatant than it is in the US. I remember some lying Brits telling me racism didn't exist in the UK, THAT WAS HILARIOUS. Don't trust anything they say. Seriously.
