Thanks. I'll put the radius up and see what happens before I delete it. A trip to Norway is long overdue anyway! :)

I really liked it. It's a bit quirky and off the wall with a mix of genres in there like all Edgar Cantero books and I can't quite put my finger on a specific reason I liked it, I just did! Well worth the read!

Me either which is why I tried if. I may try the meetup app and join a few groups but most groups are pretty adamant that you don't use them to try and meet dates.

I'm in a city in Scotland so it's not a large area. The whole of Scotland is less populated than London. I'd dread to think of he spam if get in a big city.

Yeah, exactly that. And yes, there were a lot of obese women on there too. I'm pretty much the same as you. Get along well, have some things in common and be attractive to me. That's it. I'm at a point in my life where I'm not going to settle. Fingers crossed it gets better but good to know that others feel the same.

Ha! If you don't mind, I'm going to appropriate"hyper shit show". Such a flexible term. Pretty sure I could apply that to a tonne of stuff at the moment!

So in other words, it can all be summed up by saying, avoid. Gotcha. Definitely deleting now...! Haha! I'm really not up with all this woke language crap.

I've tried to name some that haven't been mentioned yet. None of these are dedicated romances but they do feature lesbian characters:

Adult: Meddling Kids - Edgar Cantero (one of the main characters, another is Bi) (sci-fi/horror) This Body's Not Big Enough for Both of Us - Edgar Cantero (strange one. Kind of... Maybe/maybe not. Weird premise!) (Crime/sci-fi) The Real-town Murders - Adam Roberts (main character) (speculative fiction) By the Pricking of Her Thumb (sequel) - Adam Roberts (main character) (speculative fiction) The Mercies - Kiran Millwood Hargrave (main characters although slow build) (historical) The Animals of Lockwood Manor - Jane Healey (main characters but slow build) (historical) A Long Way to a Small Angry Planet - Becky Chambers (ensemble cast - there's an f/f pairing) (sci-fi)

YA: Nightshade - Shea Godfrey (main characters) (fantasy) Blackstone (sequel) - Shea Godfrey (main characters) (fantasy) Ash - Malinda Lo (main character) (fantasy) Huntress - Malinda Lo (main character) (fantasy) The Deathless Girls - Kiran Millwood Hargrave (one main character) (fantasy/horror) Frog Music - Emma Donoghue (main character) (historical)

There's more on my reading list but I've not got to them yet, so I can't comment on how much they feature:

Everfair - Nisi Shawl (alt-history) Barbary Station - R E Stearns (sci-fi) Adaption & Inheritance - Malinda Lo (spec-fic) The Tiger's Daughter - K Arsenault Rivera (fantasy) Of Fire and Stars - Audrey Coulthurst (fantasy) Karen Memory - Elizabeth Bear (steampunk)

Hope you find that of use!

I'm kind of getting that. Most folk describe themselves as "liberal pansexual" or "heterofluid". Heterofluid. WTF is that anyway? I think I'm going to delete it. Can't be bothered with this shit.
